We are offering our 2 bedroom, 2 bath home in a centrally located residential neighborhood with very easy access to Santa Monica beaches, UCLA, Brentwood, Mar Vista and all of West LA.
The single story home is approximately 1000 square feet and shares the large and professionally landscaped backyard with a studio that we also rent out.
There is 1 CALIFORNIA KING size bed plus 1 FULL SIZE BED with a TWIN TRUNDLE making this a great spot for a family to explore Los Angeles from. The first bath has a shower stall, the other a tub/shower combo. The kitchen is fully stocked with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and toaster oven.
We can provide pack-n-plays and some toys, if needed, for anyone visiting with babies.
Ample parking is available on the street and no permits are needed. If you are not traveling with a car, we are walking distance to bus lines with very easy access to beaches, shopping, etc. I have run to the beach from our place (approx 2.5 miles) and we often ride bikes there.

Interaction with Guests
This is our home which we rent out when we leave town. We try to arrange our travel so that we are home to greet you on your arrival, but sometimes we just leave you the code for the electronic entry door if timing doesn't work out. I am always available by phone and e-mail and have a cousin nearby who is available if needed.
Turn lights off when not in use and upon going out.
Notify of any additional guests.
Ask before using laundry facilities.
Feel free to hang out in or play in the shared yard area - a great place for catching some LA sun.

Our first airbnb experience! And very positive. The house was spotlessly clean and perfect for our family of 5. Our kids in particular loved the garden and we all appreciated the space. We didn't meet Julie but we liaised beforehand and spoke after we arrived and she checked we were happy with everything. Easy to park and to drive to Santa Monica beach area. Thank you.
Julie was a great hostess...we had the pleasure of meeting her and her 3 lovely children at check-in. She was very helpful getting us acclimated to the home and the area and made herself available for any questions during the stay. The pictures were very accurate and the home is in a great location as others have noted. We spent two terrific afternoons at the beach and had countless restaurants to choose from in the area. The yard is lovely and we enjoyed hanging out there late in the afternoon. There is also a guest house at the back of the property. Depending on the size of your group you may want to see if you could do a "package deal" as we would have benefitted from the extra space for our group.

We had a amazing time staying at Julie's rental, thank you so much location was perfect close to Santa Monica pier and Venice beach also not far from Hollywood and downtown LA. We drive to Disney took no longer than 45mins. Julie was the perfect host easy to get in touch with and very helpful. We would definitely rent this property again if we visit LA in the future, I would recommend to any of my family or friends also thinking of traveling to LA. Much easier than hotels. Very perfect home and yard. Julie is sooo nice and friendly to contact with us timely. Kiki is falling in love with Alex . Everyday when she wakes up,the first thing she does is saying hello to Alex and pays close attention to whether Alex has enough food and water or not. There are a lot of toys. My husband and I are falling in love with the house especially the beautiful backyard. We will recommend all of our friends to book and visit your home.Thanks sooo much. We love our stay at LA.
Julie was a great host, although we never met her in person. Her home was kept very nicely. In the beginning, she could have been more helpful in communicating how to get in and out of the house, but problems were ultimately resolved just in time.
This is the second time we have booked with Julie. The first time we stayed in the garage apartment, this time we stayed in the main house. While we have never had the privilege to meet Julie face to face, dealing with her has been a breeze.
The house worked wonderful for our party of 4. The kitchen was very well appointed, the beds very comfortable, the backyard very relaxing, and Alex the always hungry cat was very friendly.

We are a family who loves to travel and values the amenities that a home away from home offers over a hotel. Our travels have kept us more local since having kids, but previously we have enjoyed traveling all over Europe, most of the US, Costa Rica, and Thailand. I (Julie) lived in London for about a year and a half which allowed me to explore many parts of Europe.
