My original plan was to only stay here for one night, but the place was so charming and the host was so wonderful that I spend an extra two days here! The location is so great - it's close to many epic drives and views. It's quiet, refreshing, and has great amenities. On top of Kathy being the sweetest host in the world, the Irish breakfast she made every morning (with fresh homemade bread) was absolutely unreal. Great conversation and very knowledgable! The history at this house and the surrounding area was wonderful to hear about from her. I would recommend this place to anyone!
We had a great stay in the B&B, Katy make us welcome as soon we arrived. She gave us warm water bottle's for the night.
She is a good host.
Thank you very much,
Kathy and her husband were absolutely darling. She was helpful with directions (as we navigated Ireland in late-night fog!) and very warm and sweet when we arrived, and greeted us with tea and homemade cake. Her baking and cooking are phenomenal and she's lovely to chat with (in front of a warm fireplace, especially!). She did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We had a lovely stay.
Really nice nice for myself and my friend. We came in to a lovely warm room, warm bed, heated towels and hot water in the taps. We had a lovely big breakfast in the morning too that kept us going all day. All the best to Peadar and his boss Kathy.
Kathy and Paddy were great hosts~ Kathy went out of her way to meet us at the end of the road to help us find their place. Kathy puts on a great breakfast and she makes homemade (tweed) bags that you can purchase if you want. She also put hot water bottles in the beds to warm them for us. We are thankful that we chose to stay with them.
Kathy and Paddy were really nice with me, i had a fantastic irish breakfeast before hitting the road again on the morning. I do recommend!
We had a fantastic stay with Kathy and her husband Paddy. They have been doing this for a while and it shows. Everything is taken care of perfectly. The room was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, and her home made soda bread is delicious. Great people and a great place to stay.
