Teresa was very kind and helpful.
However, her address of Donegal, Donegal,
Made me think that she was in Donegal Town, in Donegal County. When asked, she told me that she was just a little way outside that town. It turned out that she lived outside Glenties, a village 35 minutes on the bus from Donegal Town. So I had to pay about 20 Euros round trip each day that I wanted to travel into town.
Teresa was a really great host. She was welcoming and cooked a great Irish breakfast. Donegal is about a 45 minute bus ride from Glenties, about a 3km walk.
Teresa's place was ideal, good value for money, a great location, quiet /comfy and a fine breakfast!
I had the most relaxing and lovely time staying with Teresa & Paddy! I was immediately welcomed into their home when I arrived, Teresa even waited at the end of the driveway to guide me in :)
She's just so nice! One of the sweetest people I've met on my travels. I was given a delicious and super filling breakfast both days I stayed, along with tea and biscuits by the fire.
The room was cozy and warm (electric blanket, yes!!!!) and I had my own bathroom/shower.
Check out her crafty tweed handbags! I bought three tweed wallets while there.
I will definitely be back!
