About this listing
If you want to have an experience in a lovely Roman family (my mom, my sister 8 years old, 7 years old my brother and me), you are in the right place.
I am the eldest daughter I rent my room for short periods: just been renovated, large enough to accommodate two people, you can obviously use the kitchen and you have your private bathroom.
Our apartment is located in a very quiet and nice area of Rome, 2 minutes walk away from the nearest metro line that will connect you to the center in 15 minutes.
Kitchen, Bathroom, Internet wi-fi, TV (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - Towels and Sheets on request).
We will be happy to interact with all of our guests, also offering typically Italian culinary evenings (we are very good in the kitchen!).
I speak fluent English, German, French and Spanish, and I am deeply interested in any other type of culture that exists on this earth.
I will provide to my guests city maps and all the stuff they need and i am available to be their personal tour guide.
2 minutes far from the metro station Numidio Quadrato, very close to one of the most important shopping street of Rome. 10 minutes far from one of the most beautiful and largest parks in Rome (Parco degli Acquedotti).
Only a few rules: you can do everything as long as you do it with respect for people who share with you the apartment. You can use anything as long as you use it as if you were at your own home. Smoking is allowed only in the balcony.
Une première expérience airbnb très agréable. Il n'y a eu aucun problème notable et nous sommes allés avec eux au restaurant dès le premier soir, un accueil très chaleureux. De très bons conseils nous ont été donnés notamment pour les glaces ;) merci encore !
First off, we had told our host family what time our flight arrived and what airport we were flying into. After traveling for hours and being exhausted we arrived at the apartment and were told that we were really late(which we weren't). She was nice after that incident and gave us good information about the city and provided a map for us. She had good recommendations that we enjoyed. We were scared to be out late because the apartment is located in a non touristy area. On our last night there was a crime investigation going on outside of our balcony. It is far from the city center(about 15-20 minutes on the metro). The metro is currently being redone so it closes at 9:30 and the only other option you have is taking a bus and it takes about an hour on the bus. The wifi gets turned off when they go to sleep because the router is in their room and she believes it causes harm to her health. I understand her concerns but she didn't warn us about this which was frustrating since we could only talk to our family back home at night because of the 9 hour difference. The bedroom was clean but the kitchen and living room were pretty cluttered so it made it hard for us to even wash our own dishes since she had so many in the sink. Overall, if you don't mind staying away from all the main attractions and staying in a not so good area then it's an okay place to stay.
This is a great moment to stay with Bianca's mother and her sister , she was so nice to introduce the map and some famous place to me. Also the room was so comfortable which with big balcony and bathroom just besides of bedroom. High recommendation !!!!!
If you are a family-oriented and animal lover, make sure not to miss this adorable family and their nice neighborhood! Well-connected location and very affordable restaurants and ice cream shop around the house. Though we missed the chance to meet Bianca's brother, and only met Bianca on the last night on our stay, we both felt like good friends. Her mom Emanuela and sister Elena were very nice and caring, made us feel like home in Rome. Moreover, Emanuela also kindly shown us where and how to get around Rome and valuable tips with the notorious pick-pockets (we met some, but thanks to all those tips, successfully managed to keep our belongings safe!). Here is the part we dedicate for Whisky the dog and those beautiful Elena's parrots & hamsters: you would love them immediately! Especially Whisky, he was like a semi-professional receptionist (though sometimes he was overwhelmed haha) in the house and made us feel welcome whenever we got home.
This is by far my favorite Airbnb house, strongly recommended! Bianca's mom Emmanuela is very kind, she gave us a map and great advices for our Rome trip. Dario and Elena are so cute and the dog Whisky is adorable. The room is very clean and comfortable, like the rest of the house. The house is right next to the metro, which will take you the central city in 15-20 min. We really enjoy our stay here.
We had a fantastic experience during our time in Rome. The apartment itself is situated just out of the centre but easily accessible by metro. The surrounding area has a lovely family restaurant which we recommend for a bite to eat and a short walk away there is a park with a number of aqueduct ruins. As for the hosting family, even though we did not see much of bianca, she seemed quite pleasant, but I can't speak highly enough of her mother Emanuella. She was a great host and gave a full explanation for what we could do during the stay. We were made to feel at home and part of the family. We would love to go back again some day
