Our neighborhood is beautifully forested and backs up to acres of untouched forest with extensive walking trails. It is less than a two mile hike from the house to picturesque Fallen Leaf Lake. There are bike trails to all the beaches just blocks from the house. Spend only 5 minutes driving to all of the premier beaches on the South Shore.
There is a public bus and taxi cabs. It is around $20 for a oneway ride in a taxi from our house to the casinos.
Other Things to Note
Our home has a 6 person sauna and a huge, challenging climbing wall.
There is no partying allowed at the house. The casinos are ten minutes away and are a great place to "tie one on".
Check in time is 4:00 and checkout is at 11:00.

Instructions were easy to follow and location was great for getting on the class one bike path to the beaches and Camp Richardson.
Lovely cabin in the stunning city of South Lake Tahoe. There was a heat wave when we arrived and Ali was extremely responsive with our needs to cool things off a bit with fans. We had a wonderful time and everything was as advertised.
Nice little house with updated kitchen. Very quiet but in a great location. The best part about this house was the proximity to Kiva Beach (which Ali mentioned on her guidebook) which was the best dog beach we have been to in Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay.
This house is toooooo cute! It was cozy, clean, and updated. We enjoyed relaxing in the quiet setting yet so close to the stateline and casinos. The neighborhood was quiet and we were very close to the beach. We will definitely stay there again. showers have great water pressure and toiletries were provided. I noticed there were a lot of equipment to accommodate small kids or babies which would be nice for a family.
Went to South Lake Tahoe with my family of 8 for Memorial Day weekend. Ali's place is very clean, beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed to make meals. We especially loved the kitchen and big dining table. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and location is conveniently right across from Anderson's bike rentals and trail to Tallac historic sites. It's also near Raley's and other stores, and several minutes from Emerald Bay and Heavenly Gondola. Truly loved our stay here!
The house was very nice, clean, well located and big enough for 7 people. The Sauna and the climbing wall were great. Ali Warren is easy to contact and very helpful. Thanks.
About the Host, Ali
I live in South Lake Tahoe with my husband, who is a fire fighter, and my two daughters. I graduated with a BA in Wilderness Leadership from Prescott College in Arizona. I am currently working on a nursing degree and have been a working massage therapist for the last 12 years. My husband and I love the outdoors and choose to live in Tahoe so that we may pursue climbing, skiing and mountain biking. We love to travel. As our daughters get older we plan to do more international traveling with them. Our style of traveling is down to earth with a focus on experience rather than luxury. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay and maximize on experiencing all the amazing things Tahoe has to offer. If we can make any suggestions please let us know as we have lived here for 20 years and have a wealth of knowledge to share with you.
