We organize transport and help you plan your holiday.

The space
Spacious bedroom with new comfortable 160 cm double bed, i.e. bigger than the Cuban standard. Good wardrobe space, New, almost soundless airconditioning unit. Ensuite fully tiled, modern bathroom with good water pressure. Exit onto living room (common space) with balcony overlooking the colourful and busy .

Guest access
You will be received like a family member and have full access to the entire house, including, the roof terrace (where we serve breakfast, arrange salsa lessons and grill) , the living room with balcony (directly connected to your room) breakfast area with fridge. The areas are shared with other guests and with Nini and her team.

During your stay
We try to work with you in advance to help you plan your Cuba holiday. We arrange transport both in Havana and to your next destination. When Nini is in Cuba she is always available to give you tips and information on Havana. She also invites guests out. When Nini is not there Franci is available and helps you with everything. She is very communicative and helpful and has great guest feedback, but be aware that she speaks very little English. To help we have our page on Face were we update every day on what is happening in Havana and we also have a binder in the house with Ninis best tips on paladeres (restaurants) and bars.

Other things to note
* Breakfast and food philosofy: We love cooking and make a big and varied breakfast. We also cater for vegans and vegetarians
Private Salsa lessons: Can be arranged in Mily's dance studio og on our roof terrace.
* Airport pick up: We will be happy to pick you up at the airport
* Onward journey: We put a lot of work into arranging transport to your next destination in Cuba and work with reliable drivers

Where you’ll be

Havana, La Habana, Cuba

Centro Habana is a unique neighborhood, where daily Cuban life plays out in all it colous regardless of tourism. Expect to be entertained. The famous restaurant San Cristobal where Obama is 50 meters from our house. Capitolio, Habana Vieja, Parque Central, and a lot of the museums are within walking distance. So is the famous Malecón.

I like to spend time with my guests
I am Nini, a Norwegian living in Cuba who , after a long career in management and communication training decided to apply those skills to Cuba. The idea came after a few years of travelling intensively to Cuba myself, after many years of Airbnb experience also in Europe and a tentative start with only one casa in 2016. That was my beloved casa Nini. Since most visitors to Cuba choose to visit more than just Havana, it made sense to expand with that in mind. We were already helping most of our guests with bookings and recommendations. With handpicked casas in Trinidad, Viñales, Cienfuegos and Playa Larga we can offer complete holiday planning. We also offer a number of outings, which you will be informed about upon booking. Or you can have a look at www.havanaedge.com. In choosing the casas the hosts have been the most important prerequisite. Cuba is truly a very different place and much as you would like - and will get - clean rooms, a compfy bed and a good breakfast, there is nothing else than can make a bigger difference to your holiday in Cuba than a great, knowledgeable and helpful host. So about the hosts: You will not meet me, Nini , in most of the casas, but better than that you will meet hosts who know their respective towns and neighborhoods and who will do their best to help you. I will however be communicating with you in advance to know your plans and wishes and offer you some great options for your holiday. These informations are passed on to your host so that you will arrive to meet somebody who is prepared as to what kinds of things you wil want to do.
