Interaction with Guests
we live in Rome but we have a very helpful couple who can attend to our guests' wishes
the sea; there are five other villas on the bay , but other people can reach the beach, through a long stony path.
Fiiumicino airport is about 30 kms. There is public transport: bus stop to Rome at about 400 mts. (but it takes one hour); a train, five minuts' drive, that takes you to St. Peter's and to the centre of the town. Parking is very close to the house.
Other Things to Note
At very short distance there are very important archeological sites. Cerveteri Etruscan tombs, Santa Severa Castle and antiquarium, Traiano Thermae at Civitavecchia (a breathtaking view) ... and Rome
Excellent Location with a lot of space directly on an empty beach and with the city of Rome close by. The host Gabriela is very supportive and kind.
Our wonderful Host, Gabriella, was not able to meet us, because of our very late arrival, via train. She sent Costantino and his wife who warmly welcomed us and went beyond the call of duty to assist us with moving in. The house was all and more than we expected. Just an easy stones throw to the Mediterranean!! We lived here for a month, using it as a base for frequent trips to Roma, less than an hour away. The neighborhood is quite elegant, while only a short drive, about 4-5 KM into the village. In short, we loved it!
A comfortable pleasant stay in a lovely location with beautiful terrace and sea views . No fancy trimmings but everything we needed. Our host Gabriella was extremely attentive and welcoming and met us on the day of arrival . She had even provided some food for us which was lovely. The children were initially disappointed by the lack of internet, but they quickly got over it by spending most of the time at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly be happy to return in the future
