And the last, for your information, I don't live in that house. The host of Taman Mesari is Ibu Kopang with her family. She is a real Balinese, friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask for information or help when you stay in their house.
I have the best time stayed in Bu Kopang bungalow.. I love the room, it is spacious, the kitchen, and she is very kind...
It location is superb, her family is very nice, and even she has new building construction, but it doesn't make any noise..
Bonus.. Her residence is close to art space, so sometimes at night I heard locals played balinese music..
I do recommend you to stay with ibu Kopang.. As I will in my upcoming trip..
Thank you Bu Kopang..
I truly enjoyed my stay with Haley. The house/room is private, big and with a nice bed and bathroom. Every morning there was hot water for tea/coffee, which I really enjoyed. The house is close to Ubud centre and has wi-fi. I had an amazing stay, so thank you Haley!
Taman Mesari was my home in Ubud for 12 nights and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. There are only two bungalows and I got the one nearer the entrance. I was surprised how large the room was. It could easily fit 4 people there as aside from the large double bed, there was also a large futton tucked in a corner.
The shower was nicely set-up with pebbled walls and floor for an outdoor feel. A small portion was roofless so ventilation was very good. There's a large wooden closet and a writing table with a desk lamp.
A clean and thick-enough towel was also provided. My room was also cleaned at least once.
The best part is being a traditional Balinese bungalow, I had my own porch where there was a thermos of hot water every morning and tea and coffee.
You stay inside a clean, leafy, and generally very lovely family compound at quiet Jl Sandat which is mostly residential and just a few minutes walk to the main road. Lots of good eating places nearby including a "masakan padang."
Ibu Kompang and her family are veru nice. The kids are especially cute and like to greet you in the morning.
Taman Mesari is highly recommended. It's the type of affordable accomodation you truly enjoy staying at.
Nice and cosy little place, charming!!!! Pretty close from everything, I had a good stay.
I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here. The location was fantastic and since the street is residential and small, quiet and peaceful. I spent a month here and the room was a perfect home base. Nice big bed, the shower was semi outdoors which was unique and fun to look up at the moon while showering. Hot water and wifi. Great place!
Clean, great host, very helpful. Central location. Only spent one day here. For the price, definitely worth it. I will recommend this place, and will definitely stay here when i return to Ubud.
Would definitely recommend this property for it's location - central and easy to walk to most tourist spots -and 'homey' feel as the standalone unit is within a family compound.
A great place, clean and simple. The family were there to help with any problem i had.
I strongly recommend!
We had a lovely stay for our three noghts spent in Ubud in Haley's house. When we arrived, a cup of tea was waiting us on our front terrace. The place is in a quiet street very close to the center. Everything can be reached walking. We highly recommend the place, very central at a very correct price.
