It was a pleasure using airbnb for the first time. Sean and Nick were absolutely wonderful to stay with. Prior to booking, Sean quickly responded to my concerns. They were friendly and made me feel very welcomed. They even provided great recommendations of local stores to try out in Brooklyn when I initially wanted to venture up to Harlem. Back to the space, it is very, very clean. The pics of the apt is quite accurate. There are lots of new attractions nearby. Very accessible by public transportation, especially since the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains are a block away, you can't beat that. I'm so happy to have stayed at this cute little getaway spot in BK.
The Seresins were very welcoming. Sean went through every facility in her house that I could use, like kitchen, bathroom, WiFi. She made sure that I could be comfortable staying at her house. Really friendly as well, when she was home, we chatted about things. No curfew (she said), but perhaps do make little to no noise when you come back late because they have children that needs to go to school. :)
The neighborhood is also nice, really close to an MTA station, and plenty choices of restaurants/food shops and cafés. And if you're hungry at night, there are two late night (I think they're open 24/7) decent delis nearby.
Overall it's really comfortable, I really enjoy it, and I think you'll be too. Definitely will go back here if my friends are gone.
I am so glad I chose to stay with Sean and her family! They were very welcoming and helpful and didn't make me feel like I was intruding on their space--even when I came back early in the evening a few days because the weather was bad or my plans fell through. The room, and their apartment, was clean and comfortable, and Sean makes sure her guests have everything they need. I felt free to come and go as I pleased and the apartment is close to the subway, making it very convenient for commuting to Manhattan. I would definitely stay here if I need a place when I visit NYC again.
Sean and her family were very accommodating. I thought that a simple items such as a water bottle, teabags, and a New York map were nice gestures. The apartment is very nice, as well as the neighborhood. The place is a very short walk to the subway. Overall, if you are looking for a convenient and nice neighborhood in Brooklyn, this would be a perfect stay.
Great host! Recommend to any traveler looking for the perfect accommodation in Brooklyn.
I am grateful to Sean for their hospitality and recommend everyone to take advantage of the comfort of the house.
