Sean was very warm, welcoming and communicative from our first email and all through my 3 night stay. Their house was as lovely as the photos showed and I was very comfortable in my room with skylight above it. There is plenty to do within walking distance and Sean was great about making recommendations in the neighborhood and helping to navigate transportation between the boroughs. Another review mentioned the train tracks are nearby and can be heard at night and I'm a light sleeper so I brought earplugs and slept really well. Overall a very enjoyable stay and amazing value while in Brooklyn.
Even Though I was late, Sean treated me very kindly. I was exhausted with former travel but Sean provided me with comfort place. Sean and Nic family gave me the greatest meal ever I ate included wine. My english skill is very low but she gave very good information about New York. Sean made my awsome new york trip. I hope I could stay Sean's house again. And I wish there will be good guests. Sean is very sweet!!
The home of Nic and Sean was perfect for a weekend of gallery hopping. The space is contemporary. The company laid back and welcoming. The room was quiet and had a lovely skylight to let in the morning sun. With incredibly easy access to Manhattan, the apartment was also surrounded by some lovely neighborhood restaurants. I highly recommend it if you want to feel "at home" in Brooklyn!
Très bonne accueil, j ai réservé le jour pour le lendemain et tout c'est très bien passé. Accueil chaleureux et famille très agréable.
It was a pleasure using airbnb for the first time. Sean and Nick were absolutely wonderful to stay with. Prior to booking, Sean quickly responded to my concerns. They were friendly and made me feel very welcomed. They even provided great recommendations of local stores to try out in Brooklyn when I initially wanted to venture up to Harlem. Back to the space, it is very, very clean. The pics of the apt is quite accurate. There are lots of new attractions nearby. Very accessible by public transportation, especially since the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains are a block away, you can't beat that. I'm so happy to have stayed at this cute little getaway spot in BK.
The Seresins were very welcoming. Sean went through every facility in her house that I could use, like kitchen, bathroom, WiFi. She made sure that I could be comfortable staying at her house. Really friendly as well, when she was home, we chatted about things. No curfew (she said), but perhaps do make little to no noise when you come back late because they have children that needs to go to school. :)
The neighborhood is also nice, really close to an MTA station, and plenty choices of restaurants/food shops and cafés. And if you're hungry at night, there are two late night (I think they're open 24/7) decent delis nearby.
Overall it's really comfortable, I really enjoy it, and I think you'll be too. Definitely will go back here if my friends are gone.
