Other things to note
→ After booking, you’ll receive an email with a link to our rental agreement. We kindly ask that it be signed within 48 hours to confirm your stay. If anything’s unclear, we’re happy to help—just reach out anytime!

→ Ultra-fast fiber wifi is available at the lodge; however, our smart TVs do not have cable. Please bring your own password (BYOP) to log into your streaming apps. Enter your checkout date, and your login info will be automatically removed after your stay.

→Like many homes on the North Shore, Nordhus does not have central AC. Thanks to our close proximity to the lake, you can enjoy natural cooling by opening the windows to let in the refreshing lake breeze, and additional fans are provided throughout the home for your comfort.

→ To comply with state lodging laws, you will be asked to provide the name and address of all guests as well as the make, license plate, and state of all vehicles before arrival (MN STATUTE 2018 327.10).

→ For your peace of mind, two Ring security cameras are installed on the exterior of the property facing the driveway and front door. These are there to help ensure guest safety and protect the home without compromising privacy. Additionally, one camera is located at the back of the property to discreetly capture the local wildlife that often visit—keep an eye out, you might spot deer or even a curious moose!

**WINTER GUESTS**
Winter is a magical time on the North Shore! To make the most of your trip, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle as this area can see significant snowfall.

We have a snow plowing service and sand barrels are provided along the driveway if needed; however, when the weather turns wild, you may need to park below and enjoy a short, scenic walk through the woods to reach the lodge. Please note, any towing costs are the guest’s responsibility.

Heads up! Snowmobiling is not allowed on local roads or on our property. Please trailer them to a nearby trailhead (the closest is about 2 miles away).
