This stay was just as described, though it seemed even bigger in person than in the photos. The location is quiet and relaxing, but close enough to town to get the essentials and also near a fantastic coffee shop/cafe. Edward and George made sure the place was well appointed and their directions made getting to a tricky-to-find place very easy. It's not new construction, but it has all of the necessities one might hope for. We even had some fresh fruit waiting in the kitchen upon our arrival. Thank you for a nice stay!

Nice, secluded place off the beaten path, but still relatively close to stores, restaurants, and beautiful views. Recommended place for early risers or heavy sleepers (there are roosters on the property that enjoy crowing), this is a charming place that feels more like you’re really living in Hawaii rather than just visiting.

A nice quiet home with more then enough space for two. It is well stocked with basic essentials that make it feel like a home away from home. The location is a little tricky to find but the directions provided are good, read them carefully! The biggest perk is the quick accesses to some of the best snorkeling around. The hosts are more than willing to help make your stay enjoyable, but won't bother you if you'd rather be left alone.

This is a nice, cute place but is on a "farm" with all the noises and environement aspects of a farm, geckos, bugs, chickens...

Thank you so much for taking care of things like my home was your own. I'm so sorry that I was unable to be there to meet you in person & to make your stay as comfortable as possible without any critters! its impossible to do that in the tropics. Let's hope that in the future we will be able to do just that. Please let us know if and when you will be back in Kona & would like to be our guest(s) again. Thank you for staying with us & please come back soon. Ed

This was the 11th Airbnb I've stayed in this year, I was bound to run into something that wasn't a great fit. I don't think it's a bad place or not worth it, there are a lot of great features like the view, location, and ease of check in/out, and Edward was very easy to communicate with. It just wasn't an ideal place for me for a two week stay so I checked out after three nights. One of the reasons I booked was the king sized bed on the lanai in the photos. Upon arrival I noticed it wasn't there and texted Edward to make sure I was in the right place. He informed me it had been destroyed by ants the previous week and offered to provide a twin bed instead which I declined. There is a lot of noise from neighbors playing music - not too late though. And I loved all the night time sound of the frogs outside. If you stay here do not leave any food out for more than a few minutes, the kitchen becomes overrun with gnats and ants (the geckos help to eat them up, but I had to clean daily and put the trash can outside). There were also some termites (I'm guessing what ate up the outside bed). Cleaning up each day really helps as Edward informed me the cleaning person did not find bugs after I checked out.
