There are two bedrooms with queen beds in each. One bedroom has a memory foam mattress, and the other has an attached bathroom with a shower. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The front door of the house opens into the former living room of the house, which is a spacious room with a trundle daybed that becomes two side by side twin beds, suitable for a single adult, a couple, or 2-3 kids because the twin beds cannot be separated.
A large farm style kitchen has filtered drinking water, a coffee maker and tea kettle, and pots and pans and utensils needed for cooking. It opens up to the living area making it easy to hang out.
The house is centrally located and close to just about anywhere in Atlanta. Walk to Grant Park, the Atlanta Zoo and Cyclorama. Walk to restaurants around the park. Historic Grant Park is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Atlanta, with historically restored homes and a progressively minded population. It is close to all the old walking neighborhoods of Atlanta where you will find great restaurants, shopping, and Atlanta culture.
A bus comes through the neighborhood which will take you to a MARTA station. Plenty of places to walk to or ride a bike to.
Please note: trundle bed expands to two twin beds which are right next to each other and cannot be separated. Works for a single adult, a couple, or 2-3 children.
No pets and no smoking on the property.
Mali was great to work with and offered excellent advice on places to eat and things to do. The interior of the home was well decorated and six of us were able to sleep very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed being close to the zoo and the easy access to I-20 for a quick ride to other destinations.
Mali was so friendly and always quick to reply! Her home was beautiful to say the least as well as spotless! Everything we needed to go to was less that 15 minutes away so it is in a very convenient location. Couldn't have asked for a better stay thank you very much Mali!
The house was wonderful! Everything a guest could need including comfy beds, washer/dryer, coffee maker and more! The house was so cozy during this most recent cold winter snap! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Mali was a great host, from offering suggestions for what to do during our visit to being very responsive to every inquiry. The house is wonderful, and we felt totally at home - it was hard to leave. The neighborhood is interesting and incredibly close to everything we wanted to do and see - the MLK historic site, the zoo, downtown, and tons of great restaurants and shops.
Mali was very accommodating especially with our last minute changes, greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back or referring others to stay there, Cheers!
Mali's house was great. very clean, comfortable beds, up to date everything. We had two couples and 2 one year olds and there was nothing that I can think of we didn't like. Also the house didn't feel like someone else's house. Thanks for the great house!
We had an amazing time here! Everything is exactly like the pictures and descriptions. We would love to stay again. Note that it is a little outside of Grant Park. A little too far to walk to the park and little restaurant area, but you can certainly drive there under 5 mins.
I am a photographer living just outside of Atlanta with my family. We used to live in this house and love it so much, we decided to turn it into a vacation home for us and for you to enjoy!! Atlanta is a great city. Beautiful trees everywhere, an interesting mix of people, and great restaurants in every pocket. The nature alone is what brought me here.
