FREE UNDERCOVER PARKING and I only rent the place out when I'm gone on work travel.
Little 1 bedroom located between Hayes Valley and Alamo Square. Perfect for date night at the Opera/Symphony/Civic Center.
The place includes a pullout couch, a nice tempurpedic queen size bed with feather comforter, an extremely large double door mirror in the bedroom (It's helpful for getting ready for a night out) a large flat screen connected to a Wii with Netflix for staying in, the tub-shower has shockingly good water pressure for being an older building, really quiet so no noisy neighbors. There is a coin operated washer/dryer on the first floor and I always keep quarters on my desk if you need to clean something :).
The biggest value add is the location; walking distance to the Symphony/Civic Center/Opera (as close as you can get before you start getting into the projects), all the great dinner/brunch spots of Hayes Valley, Lower Haight is a 5 minute walk away, Divisadero is on the other side of Alamo park and right down the street from the famous painted ladies. Also, one of the few spots in the city that stays sunning pretty consistently, the apartment itself is furnished with some fun stuff from my travels but for the most part its what you would expect from a 28 year old workaholic who's traveling 2 weeks out of the month. I'm always open to help out of towners with suggestions of restaurants, touristy things to do, places to see so if you pick this place you'll get a built in tour guide (if you want it of course :) )
Interaction with Guests
I only rent the place out when I'm not there, which is about half the month. I'm always available to chat on the phone and will gladly offer advice and fun things to do in the area through messages.
The neighbors are exceptional, if you want the feel of staying in a locals neighborhood in SF this is the place to be.
Bus stop is right on the corner of Webster and Grove so transportation is really easy.
Other Things to Note
Free Parking Spot in my covered garage directly underneath my place
No pets unfortunately, I don't smoke but 420 friendly
My friend and I booked Edward's place last minute on a weekend for one night. The location was great, and the apartment felt very private, safe and quiet. It was the first time for me, staying in an AIRBNB, that is also someone's home, with all the sign's of that person's life. It wasn't as clean, and well-appointed as you would expect from a hotel room, but it was a more personal and unique experience, even though I didn't get to meet the host in person.
Absolutely Amazing!! Seamless and effortless interaction! Easiest and most comforting Airbnb that I've encountered! Great communication and location is Spot on probably the best place to stay in San Francisco!!! Edward was very nice and easy to interact with and I highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again if the place is available!!
Thanks again for everything !!!
Edward was very easy to work with. His house instructions were detailed & accurate. The location was excellent, very central to many great restaurants, etc. We also appreciated how quiet the apartment was, plus it's located in a safe neighborhood. Nice to have the place well supplied with what we needed, even some fresh fruit & bagels for breakfast! Also his wifi worked great.
I rented Edward's apartment when my dad came to visit San Francisco. It's in a perfect location close to Alamo Square and Hayes Valley. It's easily accessible by public transportation. Edward sent over a message with great recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area and made himself available if we had any questions. The apartment is a good size for San Francisco living. It's a good size for one or two people to stay comfortably. The bed is very low to the ground and my dad had some trouble getting in and out of it as an older man, but the couch is super comfortable. Thanks for a great stay, Edward!
Place and neighbourhood were great, just as in the listing. Getting in was easy thanks to Edward's detailed directions. Only reason not a 5 was because there was a bunch of old food in the fridge. Otherwise, would strongly recommend
