It's a quiet neighbourhood, my neighbours like it like that!
Depending on your footware: please take of shoes that might make noice on a hard wooden floor ;)
Also take care of fire: don't leave anything cooking when you're not at home, don't put anything on the heaters to dry and don't smoke in bed, on the couch, or any other place in my non-smoking apartment!
Hester is a wonderful hostess!) She is a very friendly and kind person!) The apartment completely corresponds with the photos on the web site. When I arrived Hester provide me with all necessary information (how to use the apartment, where is the nearest shops, interesting places to see, restaurants etc.), she gladly answered all my questions and gave me maps and books about Amsterdam. All that information was really very helpful to me. The apartment situated near the Museumplein - it`s a wonderful place! All museums are 5 minutes from you. The center of the city is also very close, I was walking even without using a tram. Also there is a wonderful way to get from the airport to the apartment and from the apartment to the airport - by bus 197 (it will take you only 30 minutes). The bus station is in 2 minutes from the apartment. I really recomend this place, my trip was very nice! Thank you Hester!)
We loved our stay at Hester's. Huge spacious apartment in a quiet, convinient and beautiful location. Hester was so helpful and really responsive
We had a wonderful stay, very nice and well sized beautiful apartment. The neighbourhood is excellent, very quiet with bakery and restaurants right on your doorstep. Only a brief walk to all the sites (5 mins or so to the wonderful Rijksmuseum for example) Hester was so helpful and accommodating with all our questions and needs both before and during our stay and gave us a lot of useful insider information. An absolute pleasure, such a delightful host. Many thanks.
The place is really nice, spacious, quiet, well located and exactly like in the pictures. Hester was there to greet us, gave us tips on what to do and provided us with maps of Amsterdam. Although it was still a little fresh outside, we enjoyed the balcony a great deal. Since I did some vinyl shopping in Holland the small lenco-record player came in as a big - if unexpected - plus as well! Thanks for a smooth stay.
Hester's apartment far exceeded our expectations. It's perfectly located and we really felt at home during our stay. All of our needs were catered for and Hester provided us with great information regarding the local area and Amsterdam in general. Looking forward to staying again in the near future!
Hester is really a host concerned and caring, she greeted us with great warmth and kindness .
The house is very bright and is located in a quiet and convenient location . We walked around the city easily and without any problems. In the area there are services of all kinds . The only thing a little ' uncomfortable for me was the bathroom, but otherwise really warmly recommend this house!
The apartment is sunny, spacious and so affordable. Located on a beautiful street, right in the city center with great transport links. I cannot recommend it enough, we had a fantastic stay! Hester is wonderful- super friendly, relaxed and full of suggestions and recommendations. Book book book!
