If wine is more to your taste then try out the Bodegas of Jerez and see how they produce such fine wines characteristic of Jerez, they'll even treat you to some wine tasting.
Touristic sights is also at the heart of the city with plenty to see including the spectacular Alcazar Palace, the stunning Cathedral symbolizing the religious devotion in the city, San Miguel Church, the Cloisters of Santo Domingo, or relax after a long day in the Arab Baths.

Without doubt venturing outside the city center is well worth investing time. With some of the most beautiful beaches with crystalline water and fine sand that will definitely leave an impression. For more of an outdoor adventure why not take a short ride to the sierra where you can visit the pictures white villages or go on a short hike in the mountains.
