Affordable Lake Arrowhead area cabin that sleeps 8 comfortably! Conveniently located between Lake Gregory and Lake Arrowhead! Peaceful and quiet, enjoy your coffee or wine sitting on the deck looking out at the forest and hearing the birds sing!
Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the mountain air, and fresh coffee enjoyed on the back deck where you bask amongst the towering pines and cedars sprawling out in the forest in front of you.
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath, fully equipped cabin in Twin Peaks, just 4 miles from Lake Arrowhead, will make you feel right at home. Entering from our private driveway you will find yourself in the open plan living room and kitchen area. A long breakfast bar, dining table and large kitchen accomodate home cooking quite nicely! The living room features a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player and plenty of seating and a wood burning fireplace. Down the hall you will find the upstairs master bedroom, with a queen bed and tranquil forest views. Across the hall is the Bunk Room, with two sets of bunk beds for up to 4 kids or adults. Both bedrooms have their own TVs with DVD players (not cable) if you want to get away from the group or have the kids watch a movie in their own room. The Bunk Room also has a game table where you can play checkers, chess, backgammon or cards (poker chips included!). The upstairs level also has a full bathroom with shower (no tub).
Downstairs you will find a full bathroom, with tub, and the downstairs master with a queen bed, forest views and a private deck. Also downstairs is the laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer.
The cabin has wireless internet, local phone service, lots of DVDs (G through R) lots of board games, cards, books and even some coloring books for the little ones. Our remote controlled heating system will ensure that even if you choose a winter weekend getaway, the cabin will be warm and toasty upon your arrival.
Guests can visit the public Lake Gregory for swimming and sunning, access the many hiking trails in the area (there is a list of hiking trails in the welcome book at the cabin), visit Lake Arrowhead Village for excellent shopping, summer concerts and farmer's market (fridays), just 10 minutes away, or quickly access the local ski resorts, all within a 30 minute drive!
Because we have a key pad entry, you never have to worry about arriving before or after a meeting time, you can take your time and arrive any time after our agreed upon check in time. I will usually call the day you check in or the next morning, to make sure everything is working properly and see if you have any questions. If there are any problems, my mom, housekeeper and handyman are all nearby and can come over in a heartbeat, but unless you need us, we will let you be to enjoy your mountain stay!
Our neighbors are very nice and quiet, we share a main driveway with them but have our own private parking space. Mountain folks are most often friendly and willing to give a hand or directions when needed! Antlers Grill is a fabulous restaurant located right at Hwy 189 where you turn on to Rose Lane. Next door to Antlers is Mountain High Market, a small convenience store, both are walkable from the cabin on a nice night.
Be prepared in the winter that if there is snow on the ground they often require 4WD OR chains, sometimes both. Our cabin is on a county maintained road so it will get plowed. Our driveway is very steep and should not be used when it is snowing or icy, but parking is available along the road.
We have games, DVDs, a book library and snow saucers and a snow shovel available for your use while you are here! We also have travel sized toiletries in case you forgot something, and stock toilet paper and paper towels sufficient for a weekend stay. If you are staying longer or have a larger group, you will need to bring or buy some.

My friends and I came up for a really nice, relaxing weekend at the cabin. It snowed and rained, but we had an awesome time staying indoors and having a fire. Kristin was a very easygoing host, and I would recommend this place to anyone. Very spacious, clean and cozy.
We had a great time!!! Super cozy place, very spacious, fully stocked with everything you'll need to feel at home. Beautiful scenery and close to any destination you choose. Kristen was an amazing host... we will definitely be back! !!
Kristen was an amazing host! She is very sweet and went above and beyond all expectations I had. The cabin is beautiful and in a perfect location, it is quiet, very clean, and you feel as if you are at home as soon as you walk in. I loved absolutely everything about this cabin and will definitely be returning soon... Hopefully when there is snow!! Definitely recommend the cabin to everyone!
Our family with 2 little kids enjoy this place. There are DVDs, board games, puzzles and game table for kids to play. I like the location is between Lake Arrowheads Village and Lake George. It is easy check-in and check-out to use keypad. Parking can be challenge during snow season. I'm glad that there is no snow while we visit. It is a nice and cozy place to stay with family.
Kristen was easy to work with and left a welcome basket of goodies for us. She let us check in early since nobody stayed the night before, although I would have liked a little more notice on if we would be able to.
The cabin and furniture was very comfortable and included many amenities (e.g. a fireplace, cookware, tea, spices, gloves, and beanies). It was pretty cold the first night (in January) because the thermostat was set to holiday programming, as if nobody was staying there, but once I figured out how to change it, it was quite cozy.
The driveway is very steep, but we were able to squeeze two compact cars in the parking spot. I was hoping for snow, but am glad it didn't because finding parking on the street would have been difficult.
Great cabin and visit...only would have been made better by snow! Great place for a getaway!!
Great Value! Plenty of space and practical accommodations. Could be very relaxing if you're only with adults or older children. Kristen has thought of everything, don't pack much! We over-packed. It's about 3.5 miles from the Village and takes around 15 min to get there.
The parking situation is a bit tricky, but I parked my SUV on the street in front of the stairs of the house and was fine. Loved the new heating system! Kitchen is totally stocked! Lots of TV channel options with the Dish Network.
The only drawback and this was specific to me, I took 2 toddlers with me and had to constantly be on them as they ran up and down the stairs(which are carpeted.) There are also a lot of cute cabin decorations and accents that my toddlers went crazy for. I had to move things up so they wouldn't touch them. They did love all the children's books that were available. I can go back to this place with other couples, but not with very young kids.
This was an amazing stay and I cannot emphasize enough how nice it was.
