The Tribal Tipi beckons your native spirit into the wilds of the woods. This glampsite will transport you back in time and tradition. Our authentically replicated 154 sq. ft. tepee is set on a large deck with a smaller, adjacent deck for the private bathroom 'petee'. The nearby ‘Wigwam’ gives you screened-in dining, and the fire-pit with seating completes the encampment. All the gear needed for your tribe's adventures awaits!

THE TIPI:
Inside the 154 f² (14.3 m²) authentically constructed tipi, we have provided:

THE WIGWAM:
Under the shelter of the screened ‘Wigwam’, you can comfortably dine on the large, Octagonal picnic table. We've provided:
- Cooking Utensils.
- Cast Iron Cookware, Long Forks, Sandwich Irons.
- Enamel Lidded Pot.
- Dinner & Silverware, Serving Bowls.
- Knives & Cutting Boards.
- Cups & Coffee Mugs.
- Campfire Kettle, French Press, Pour-over Coffee Maker & Filters.
- Sink Basin, Dish Drainer & Drying Stone.
- Canvas Buckets (Water is accessible nearby).
- Compost Pail, Recycle Bin, Trash Barrel.

THE FIRE-PIT:
Food tastes best when cooked over an open flame. In the fire-pit area, we have provided:
- Large Tripod Grill.
- Seating & Large, Flat Boulders.
- Charcoal Grill/Smoker.
- Firewood Tote (Firewood is Available for Purchase Nearby).

THE PRIVATE PEETEE :
When nature calls, you're mere steps away from the Private ‘Peetee’ bathroom. We have provided:
- Water Dispenser & Wash Basin, Hand Soap.
- Mirror & Towel Rack.
- Composting Toilet, Compost, 2 Rolls of Toilet Paper.
- Trash Basket.
- Solar Shower Bag.
- Clothes drying line.
- Motion Sensor Lights, Lanterns & Candles.

WHAT TO BRING:
I tell our guests to “Pack as if you’re returning to an already set up campsite.” You will basically bring anything that gets consumed or laundered. Below is a list of just a few of the items you will need to bring:

ESSENTIALS:
- Bed Linens & Pillows (Sheets & Blankets or a Sleeping Bag).
- Bathing Suit, Towels & Washcloths.
- Toiletries, Bug Spray, First Aid Kit.
- Food & Drink, Cooler with Ice, Condiments, Oil & Vinegar, Spices, Salt & Pepper.
- Foils & Wraps, Paper Towels, Trash Bags.
- Charcoal for the Grill.
- Good walking shoes or boots, something that can get muddy when the weather turns.
- Comfortable, seasonal clothes, raincoats or ponchos.
NOTE: You are off-grid, so there are no mechanical forms of air conditioning other than a ceiling fan in the tipi to help cool and circulate the air on hot nights.

OPTIONAL ITEMS:
- Portable Stove, Gas Bottle.
- Any of your Favorite Camping Gear.
- Pool Floats, Swim Inflatables.

LOCATION:
The Tribal Tipi glampsite is in the rolling Appalachian Foothills of Coshocton County. We are located within Ohio's largest Amish community. You won't hit a single stop light before arriving to New Bedford, Baltic, Charm, Sugarcreek, Berlin, Walnut Creek, or Millersburg.

We're also right along the path of 'The 3 Rivers Wine Trail’ where you can tour 7 wineries & a brewery all within a day's scenic drive.

And you'll be minutes away from Roscoe Village, a restored 1830s canal town.

Finally, there are several nearby adventure trails for motorcycling, biking, and geocaching.

GLAMPING WITH PETS:
We know how much your pets mean to you. We have our own and couldn't imagine life without them. So we've chosen to open The Tribal Tipi glampsite to accommodate your fur babies. Note that The Tribal Tipi's door has no lock. If you believe your pet may wander away in the middle of the night, we suggest bringing a kennel to contain them. Feel free to inquire about our other pet policies.
