Typical Swiss villa with all the comforts of a pleasant stay.
Appreciated for its spaciousness, brightness, fireplace, equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms and the tranquility of the surroundings.
Ideal for adventurers, families with children, couples, artists and people looking for the calm and serenity of nature... great for resting, meditating or stopping in the middle of a trip or other physical effort.
Exterior access not recommended for people with limited mobility.

The space
The villa is a new building of 170m2, built entirely in solid wood by local artisans and with top quality finishes. Its design contemplates large spaces and large windows that allow you to appreciate the surrounding nature.
Most of the building is single-level. Downstairs, in addition to the social area, kitchen and service area, there are two bedrooms with private bathroom. In the mezanine, under a sloping roof, is a spacious room-without a private bathroom-.
Between the living and dining rooms, a large panoramic fireplace allows you to appreciate the fire from all angles. This social area - where we also have a bathroom - is projected outside, through a terrace.
The kitchen - which includes a bar bar and various work spaces - has a modern and practical design, with solid wood furniture and granite stone counter. It is fully equipped with new and modern appliances, as well as kitchen utensils and service available for all guests.
Inside, in the service area, there is the cleaning area and a tank (which we keep closed). Outside, there is a laundry room with a clothes dryer to dry clothes in the sun.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed (1.60 x 2.10 m.) and features a spacious private bathroom (the tub is decorative only). Two other rooms each have a double bed (1.50 x 1.90 meters.), one of them with a private bathroom. In the mezanine, we have two single beds (0.90 x 1.90 m.) that - according to your needs - could be relocated in the rooms. In addition, in the living room, we have a futon sofa bed, double size (1.50 x 1.90).

Where you’ll be

Acopampa District, Ancash, Peru

We are in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by ditches, farmland and the Andes mountain range. In the area, access roads are through narrow rural roads that are permanently affected by rainfall; this makes it difficult to reach people with limited mobility from outside.
From the property, you can take a few walks, get in touch with locals and access the Carhuaz fair. Our neighbor or her children can take you to discover medicinal plants in the area, accompany small visitors to play in the waters of the ditch, as well as show the way of life of people in the countryside, with their animals and their crops. Likewise, here you can buy fruits, legumes, eggs or even animals (chickens, rabbits) that produce the same neighbors, and that way they have their small income.
Nearby there are very small businesses, but in Carhuaz you will find everything: in addition to the fair, there is a supermarket, wineries, bakeries, pharmacies, restaurants, church, banks and excellent ice cream shops.
In this part of the country, the Andes Mountain Range is divided into two mountain ranges: the black mountain range and the white mountain range, the latter with high snow-capped peaks among which is the Huascarán (the highest mountain in Peru). The thawing of these glaciers feeds various turquoise water lagoons and eventually flows into the Río Santa, which runs through the entire alley.
This area, also known as "Peruvian Switzerland”, has great tourist attractions, especially for nature lovers, mountain activities and adventure sports. The wide shade of attractions ranges from ancient relics of past civilizations, majestic snowfalls, flora and fauna typical of this microclimate, hot springs and cheerful Andean peoples, with generous people, eager to show their varied folklore.
The colorful markets or fairs have their own charm; it is an opportunity to discover the flowers, fruits and foods of the area, but also to have direct contact with the villagers and learn about their customs. At the Carhuaz fair, every Wednesday and Sunday of each week, in the surrounding villages, the activity begins at dawn, when vehicles descend to the city carrying the products from the heights.
