Jutta was a really really great host! We got along very well (with her other housemate Katharina too) and it made my first time in Berlin a very smooth and enjoyable one. She made breakfast for me when I first arrived after my 17-hour long flight :)
Her apartment located just opposite U Eberswalder station and various tram stops is ridiculously convenient to go to Tegel, Alexander Platz and other key shopping areas like Mitte. There are quite a fair bit of boutiques, restaurants and flea markets around Schonhauser Allee itself too. There is a supermarket just less than 100m from the house, a 24/7 Turkish mart just across the road, and an Asian mart about 100m round the block.
The room is much bigger than it appears in the photo, and is really spacious for 1 person. The apartment has a very light and down-to-earth feel about it, with lots of organic food lying around. I appreciate these qualities very much.
Overall a very recommended stay, especially if you like cats (she has one named Marcel) ;)
I had a great time at Jutta's! She's a really nice and considerate host (with a very photogenic cat) and her apartment is right across the street from a metro station AND tram stops AND a beloved currywurst stand, which for a first-time tourist in Berlin is pretty much the whole package.
I had a really pleasant stay at Jutta's. I would recommend it because the location is just great you are litterally not even 2 minutes away from the metro station and have heaps more options to get around. You have a grocery store nearby which was really convenient. If I was to come back to Berlin I would def come back and stay at her place :)
Jutta was very welcoming and stayed up for when my flight got in. The place has everything you need and is in a great area. For some sensitive sleepers they may be aware of the bars outside, it was a Friday night when I stayed so there was some outside merriment but it didn't bother me.
She noticed me the day before I arrive there. Jutta was really kind person, and explained everything about house immediately. The room was really cozy, warm and clean. I miss the black cat Maksen(not sure the name). I strongly recommend to travellers staying here!
