Our home is 5 km south of Saskatoon in South Corman Park, near Highway 11, the main (twinned) highway to Regina. Country views everywhere, acres of free parking.
Quiet, comfortable, and clean are the three main words to describe the room. It's a country residence, spacious and relaxed, with a breakfast bar containing toaster, microwave, fridge, coffee supplies.
Paved roads right to my driveway. You can drive up to the patio entrance in snow-free months, or parking a few steps away from the front door during winter.
Interaction with Guests
We will greet you upon arrival, showing you around and giving you a key. We're here if you need anything, and please contact us if there is a problem. Your privacy is completely respected.
Country roads lead off in all directions; stores and services require driving a short distance to Saskatoon.
If you are a recreational walker, just go for it, down the driveway and along the road. Otherwise, you'll need to drive to Saskatoon for 'all things city':parks, entertainment, etc.
Other Things to Note
A word about the 'breakfast bar': This is not a full kitchen, and there is no stove.(microwave, toaster, kettle - yes.) It is meant for a simple breakfast.
This is our home, so please be respectful. Particularly, no noisy activity between 10 PM and 7 AM.
We do not mind if you smoke outside on the patio area.
Leave the room tidy and reasonably clean. The $20 cleaning fee is pretty minimal and is intended to cover linens when you leave. It doesn't include cleaning dirty dishes, spills on floor or fridge, gooey messes, you get the idea.
Tell us right away if anything is missing or needs fixing. We'll do our best to amend the situation asap.
My daughter and I stayed at Marsha's home in early October. We really enjoyed our stay - it was quiet, well appointed and the breakfast nook was stocked with all the necessities. Thanks Marsha!
Marsha is a helpful and kind host. She responded quickly to my questions and had very clear directions on how to find her place. The room is spacious and bright and the bed is comfortable. It was nice to be outside the city but close enough for quick and easy access.
Saskatoon, and particularly the countryside where Marsha lives, is absolutely beautiful! However, we would return just to stay with Marsha....We could not have asked for anything better for our visit; Marsha is a wonderful, generous, funny and oh so spunky hostess, who made us feel totally at ease in her lovely art and music-filled home. The accomodations were spacious, comfortable and clean and met all our needs and more. It was a treat to be able to get out of town and yet have everything close enough to be manageable, and the peace and quiet of the country each evening was a blessing. Thank you for a great week Marsha, you made our stay!
Marsha is an absolutely wonderful host! The room was huge and comfortable, the setting tranquil and relaxing. I'm going to make this spot my go-to for future stays in Saskatoon!
My partner Nik stayed with Marsha for one night and loved the room. Comfortable bed, quiet, very private and decorated with great art (our host is an amazing artist) and most congenial host. We will absolutely book in again to experience Marsha's hospitality the next time we travel to Saskatoon.
A beautiful fall setting with great scenery and a comfortable, clean and spacious room. This beautiful house is a short drive south of the city and it's actually really great to be away from the hustle and bustle and not having to look for parking, etc. And Marsha is a very gracious and friendly host.
Our requirements for lodging were for clean, quiet and relaxed accommodation. These were nicely met by our hostess.
Marsha is friendly, easygoing and helpful.

I am a retired business owner, and am currently busy as an artist and writer for our local daily newspaper. My own travels are often to Nova Scotia where my mother (who just turned 90!) lives. Belonging to a Book Club, writers group, volunteering, and wailing away on my guitar keep me fully occupied.
