Interaction with Guests
We work long hours during the week so interaction may be limited Monday - Friday. I work for a local non-profit and my husband is a photographer and a student. We are open to showing you around if you like, if our schedule allows, or just providing you with inforamtion and letting you explore on your own.
Emily and Jason have a comfortable home in a quiet, safe neighborhood, close to parks, the river, and downtown. They are comfortable, and laid back, interesting to talk with, and with a casual living style. The room is small and comfortable, has a sitting room as well and full bath, making up the whole of the downstairs space, very private. The yard is like the photo, large, sunny, welcoming, and it's enjoyable to have the company of the family cat and dog. I had a short stay and enjoyed it thoroughly, thank you both for opening your home.
Emily is a warm amd welcoming host, and I found my stay with her wonderfully comfortable. Their home is in a very peaceful area and you have access to their beautiful garden. It is a walkable distance to town and I would definitely recommend it if you are ever in Boise!
Amazing Hosts, beautiful and clean house & room, great location and more...
Boise was only a stop on the way for us so we didn't spend a lot of time, but it was a great experience! Everything you wish for on Airbnb! (And Boise is a great place to visit... Sorry Emily, I had to tell people that... :-) ).
Entry was super easy. Emily was very friendly and helpful. Pets were great and very affectionate. The bed was a bit short for me (I'm 6'1"). Would definitely stay again!
I had a very good experience staying with Emily and her husband. The house is in a nice, older neighborhood that has a lot of charm, and is centrally located with easy access to downtown and the freeway. The simple downstairs room was clean and quiet and perfect for my needs. I enjoyed the conversations we had and I would stay with them again.
We were looking for a place to stay at a somewhat short notice, and Emily definitely came through for us. She is very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Her room (and home) is also very nice; the room with the bathroom seems almost private on its own. This is a must-stay!
We had a nice stay. We only stayed one night but, felt very welcomed. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were super nice. Made friends with the cat who slept with us for part of the night. Love cats so that was nice.
About the Host, Emily
I have worked in educaiton and non profit for most of my life. I enjoy feeling good about my work but also value balance in my life. I have lots of hobbies, including camping, attending live music events, riding my bike around Boise and spending time with my dogs, cat and husband. Jason, my husband, is a photographer and very creative. He enjoys building things out of pallets, being outdoors and taking photographs.
We are a very laid back group and love to meet new people. We keep a busy schedule during the week and like to enjoy our weekends as much as possible. We love living in Boise, as we were both orignially from Arizona. We moved to be closer to family and to escape the heat. We have been in Boise for 3 years and LOVE IT!
