Ienjoy meeting my guests and conversing with them when schedules allow. I am very willing to share my knowledge of the area and my favorite spots. Most guests really appreciate that.
My neighborhood is quiet and there are basic amenities within five minutes like restaurants, Post Office, gas station, great thrift and antique stores.
There is no public transit so a car is a must.
No Smoking please. Dogs are welcome if well behaved. My dog puts up a fuss when guests come but a few sniffs and she will be a friend.
We had a great time at Carlo's lovely house. Carlo is an excellent host and knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The room (and private bathroom) was large, very comfortable and clean. During our stay we also enjoyed the garden - a perfect place to look at the stars! Carlo has a lot of knowledge about the area and helped us plan our trips, for which we were very grateful. I would definitely recommend Carol's place!
Absolutely wonderful hostess! It was a great pleasure to stay with Carol and her dog Alize...The room is clean and comfortable with a private bath. The area is just beautiful and in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend her place to anyone.! Thank you Carol for offering such a wonderful place to rest!
Carol was wonderful and her house was a great quiet spot to spend a week. She was very hospitable, welcoming, and made me feel right at home! The backyard is beautiful and great for looking at the stars since you're out in the country. If you have AT&T you won't get any service (she has Verizon and says that works fine) but imessaging on an iPhone worked just fine. Her partner Tom took me on a beautiful hike and they were both very knowledgable of the area. Her dog is also very sweet and put up with my little dog as well! The room is really big with a mini fridge, TV, and large bathroom right outside your door. Carol's room is on the other side of the house so it feels very private. If you want a relaxing country retreat this is perfect!
Carol's place "in the country" was very relaxing. I enjoyed staying there during my visit to Sedona and environs, and would not hesitate to return.
Carol was very sweet and accommodating to both myself and my dog Chico. The room was very comfortable and it was a quiet place for me to get some much needed work done.
Carol's home is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. Make sure you enjoy her backyard. It has a great little fountain that makes you feel relaxed.
