You Can't Beat the Views or the Location!
Take in the panoramic city views from the comfort of your couch, or step onto the deck for fresh air. Either way, your view stretches from the TransAmerica Pyramid to the Bay Bridge and the South Bay waters.
Just steps to Castro & market! (Perfect location for Halloween in the Castro)
We are in an area that doesn't suffer from the usual fog that can plague San Francisco. And a very short walk to the Castro Theater, the F-Market Streetcars, and underground Muni. My 2nd floor apartment is on a quiet and beautiful block of Castro Street. Plus, it has views of the SF bay, AT&T Park, and the Oakland hills from large picture windows in the living room and bedroom.
The bedroom is in the back of the apartment, so it's quiet and dark and great for sleeping.
The kitchen has it's original 1950's charm. The bathroom is new, recently renovated.
Some of the amenities of our home include:
- California King bed in master
- Two individual beds in living room (convertible chairs)
- Small deck with panoramic views (2 people max)
- Living Room with beautiful views of the City
- Huge shower with glass walls (no tub)
- 6 sets of new clean towels
- 2 sets of new clean sheets per bed
- apartment is professionally cleaned for your visit
- Lots of natural light
- New Smart TV (stream your Netflix & Pandora)
- Free wireless internet access
- Coffee maker
- Iron & Ironing Board
- Hair Dryer
- Free laundry for you in the building
- Ample street parking
- City views from bedroom
- Blackout shades in bedroom
- Just a block and a half to the Castro Muni and street cars
- One block to Corona Heights park (Local secret! Three tennis courts, hiking trails, truly amazing panoramic views, and the Randall Museum)
- Walk score of 100; tons of great restaurants, shops, and grocery stores close by (for example, you can walk to the Valencia Corridor, SF's newest "Restaurant Row" with many of the newest and hippest restaurants & bars in the city).
Easy walking to the Mission, Haight Ashbury, Lower Haight, Duboce Park, and more. The neighborhood is amazing. Unlimited restaurants, bars, and retail shops just steps away. This place really is special.
Plenty of public transportation to discover the city in all directions.
* Castro Station MUNI train stop 2 short blocks away (MUNI lines K, L, M, S, T)
* Traditional Streetcar stop 2 blocks away (MUNI line F, runs along Market Street and goes all the way to Fisherman's Wharf and/or Ferry Building!)
* Buses stop at the front door to our building

Neighborhood: The Castro
You'll be staying at a Pillow Homes approved property, and guests are encouraged to follow Pillow rules and terms.
The check-in was effortless, the view was spectacular and the neighbourhood cannot be beat-- walking distance from the Castro and Mission, and public transit or an Uber to anywhere else. Very clean, very pleasant stay, thanks Rob!
This apartment is a great place to stay in San Francisco. The home is very nice, clean, and just as pictured. The host was also very good at communicating prior to the visit. Thanks so much!
Place was accurate to pictures and descriptions. Kitchen usable and had equipment to do some basic cooking. Wi-fi worked well, and bathroom was quite nice (recently re-modeled).
Since entry/exit is based on keycodes, it was a snap to check in—not trying to find some dude a donut shop with the keys.
Location is great and the view is spectacular. Upstairs neighbors party on the weekends, so bring earplugs if you have trouble sleeping in a noisy city environment.
We had a lovely stay! The apartment was clean and very spacious. The location was great and close to public transit and some of the best neighbourhoods in the city! We loved our morning hike up to corona heights park. Stunning views! Would definitely stay again on our next visit, thanks!
Neighborhood was very nice. It was quiet with a quick walk to shops, bars, and restaurants. Pictures in the listing are accurate and the view is great as described. I found the bed to be uncomfortable, but maybe that is just a matter of personal taste.
My biggest concern was with the cleanliness of the apartment. The cabinets were sticky, the dishes were dirty, and I walked away with a thick layer of dirt on the bottom of my feet that lead me to believe the floor had not been cleaned for a very long time.
The apartment was also very cold and the heater did not work well. It would be nice if warmer bedding was provided to make up for the chill in the apartment.
Overall I do not think this apartment is a good value for the money. Most other Airbnb listings in the same price range are much higher quality.
Thank you for the constructive note in regards to your stay. A professional cleaning crew with excellent yelp reviews was scheduled to prepare the unit prior to your arrival and I sincerely apologize that the cleaning quality did not meet your expectations. Although your reservation has passed, I would love the opportunity to get more detailed feedback and make sure that we part ways amicably. The comfort of a guest (past, present or future) is always top priority! Please call (phone number hidden) so that you can be provided with further support!
The apartment was 100% how described and the view incredible. Communication was easy and fast. I would book again!
Travelled to SF for work and loved staying at this spacious, beautiful apartment in a great neighbourhood for a week. Rob's place is clean and uncluttered, with a great outlook over the city as promised. The photos don't do justice to the view! The bed was comfortable (though I was a bit chilly at night until I figured out how to work the central heating). Loved the newly-fitted bathroom - great rain shower. The kitchen is basic, but sufficient if you're using the apartment as a base - though I missed having a kettle!
There was some noise from the neighbours upstairs late at night/early morning over the weekend, but I didn't hear a peep the rest of the week, and slept like a log, so I assume it was just normal city living noise.
Rob and the AirEnvy/Pillow management team were really good at responding to enquiries like resolving my jetlagged confusion about the key code and delivering a care package of toiletries and tea (+ some tasty pastries!) midweek as it hadn't been there when I arrived.
It was fantastic to be in a quiet location but within an easy walk of the MUNI at Castro. I also walked easily to Safeway at Church, Duboce Park, Alamo Square and Mission, plus back from my (SOMA) client office a couple of evenings - it takes about 35 minutes down Market. Don't miss the opportunity to walk up to Corona Heights, just 15 minutes above the apartment. Great vista of the city.
Thanks for the hospitality, Rob. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the city for work.
