  • Charming, quiet but central location, beautifully equipped flat and Christine was a perfect host. She ensured we'd feel home from home- right from the initial booking. Couldn't recommend more highly and hope it's not too long before me and my family could stay again.

  • Our first airbnb experience and it was completely hassle-free. Christine was very welcoming. The location, as expected, was great - and surprisingly quiet at night. The flat had everything we needed, including basic food provisions, so we didn't need to shop; (we were only there for one night). Thank you Christine.

  • Christine is a very nice host. Her apartment is pretty and clean, and decorated with flowers. The location is perfect, for not only is it 1 minute walk to the Royal Mile Street, but also there is a Boots, a convenient store, and a couple of vintage shops beside the apartment.

We definitely recommend Christine's place for either short stay or long stay.

  • Christine's flat was AMAZING - Christine greeted us as soon as we got in with maps and brochures of things to do around the city and couldn't have been sweeter. Even though we were only staying for one night, she had our fridge stocked with milk and butter and had bought us fresh bread and cereal for breakfast as well as coffee and tea. The place itself was bigger than I thought, adorable, and very clean. The location was also PERFECT to explore the city. Nowhere we wanted to go was more than a 10 minute walk. I DEFINITELY recommend this flat and will be back next time we are in Edinburgh!

  • Our experience was excellent. The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect as it is close to the Royal Mile, train station, bus stops, restaurants, and many tourist attractions. Our hosts were wonderful. Christine was easy to communicate with in arranging our stay and helpful when we experienced travel problems. She bought a fan for our comfort as the weather was unusually warm. Christine had fresh flowers in the apartment for us, which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful week in Scotland and meeting Christine and Ronnie added to the enjoyment of our stay. Thank you Christine and Ronnie for your hospitality!! Edinburgh is a very walkable city; be sure you bring comfortable shoes to wear.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Christine's flat. The location was right by the Royal Mile but on a side street so it was quiet at night and one was not in the middle of crowds. She is also right up the street from the airport bus and this was partly why we were interested in the flat. It was clean and cozy with a good bed and Christine was very friendly and helpful.

  • We had a wonderful time during our first stay in Edinburgh enhanced by our stay in Christine's lovely flat! The flat is just as pictured and the location is very central as advertised. Christine is a lovely and gracious host and if we should be lucky enough to visit Edinburgh again we will not look elsewhere for lodging.

  • As promised, the flat is central to everything we would want to see.....the Castle, Holyrood House, Arthur's Seat. Lovely restaurants nearby, including the Outsider and the Edinburgh Larder (lunch). The flat was well equipped with towels, plenty of breakfast options, and even chocolates. The space was more than adequate for my daughter and me. And although Christine said we might hear some noise, we slept well on this street just off of the Royal Mile. Christine and Ronnie were wonderful hosts on our first trip to Edinburgh, providing detailed directions to all the Old Town and wonderful recommendations. Well done!

  • Christine was very friendly and communicative. The flat was very comfortable. It felt like home. Christine left us plenty of snacks, fresh linens, and literature on nearby attractions. Cockburn street is right in the middle of the Royal Mile. There are many nearby restaurants, pubs, and shops. Many great attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scotland National Museum, and Holyrood Park are within walking distance. Access to buses and trains are also nearby. I would love to stay here again!

  • My husband and I loved our experience at this flat. It's spacious with everything you need in a fantastic location close to both the new and old towns. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating and let me leave my luggage with them very early in the morning on account of being 6 months pregnant. We were provided with pastries and porridge etc for breakfast which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this flat to others.
