Christine was amazing. She let us check out bags in early so we could get out and start exploring early. The location is fantastic and only minutes away from the Station. Christine was really helpful with telling us about the city and providing some help with a problem we had. Would 100% recommend Christine and her amazing place to everyone.
Christine was an absolutely wonderful host who is flexible with timing and made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. She even left everything from eggs to sweets for us—we had books to read, a large TV to watch in the evenings, and a centrally located flat on one of the most beautiful streets in Edinburgh. The bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living space were beautifully decorated. I lived in Edinburgh for years—and when I go back to visit, I will stay at this flat. We cannot recommend it enough!!
For my first airbnb experience, I couldn't ask for a better host than Christine! She was sweet from the start and made my daughter and I feel very comfortable. When we arrived, she showed us around the flat and we had a great conversation. The flat felt very cozy and homey, especially because Christine provided us with tea, short-bread, chocolate and other goodies! Her fridge was also stocked with fruit, raisin bread, eggs and milk which were a nice addition :) The living room, bedroom and bathroom were all very clean and well-kept. The bed was extremely comfortable and we definitely felt at home, especially with the flowers and atmosphere. She even provided shampoo and other essentials in the bathroom! The location of the flat is also convenient, with walking distance to every important landmark (especially Edinburgh castle!) Anytime we had any questions, Christine was available to answer our calls which was helpful. Overall, we left Edinburgh wanting to come back because it was such a wonderful experience staying in Christine's flat. We highly recommend her and there is no doubt that she is one of the sweetest people we've ever met :) When we do return to Scotland, we hope to stay at her flat again.
Gracias, Christine!
Christine gave us a wide window of time to check in which helped us because we weren't quite sure of our schedule. The flat is lovely and comfortable. Christine has stocked it with a wonderful variety of teas, coffee, breakfast cereals, and she even had milk and juice in the frig. Wonderful. Fresh flowers were on the table. The bathroom had a selection of soaps and shampoos. It was everything we could have hoped for. The location was perfect. The national registry was a short walk away for genealogy research, Edinburgh Castle a short walk the other direction. It was great.
I could not recommend this place enough. The location of the flat is superb, within a short walk to the Waverley Station, the Royal Mile Street and the Princes' Street. You can easily catch the Airlink bus service to/from the airport and all the hop on/hop off bus tours from here. The flat itself is very spacious, well equipped and nicely designed.
Christine is the kindest host ever. She had kindly provided milk, eggs, shortbread, cereals, tea, coffee, and even chocolate! She kindly let us check in early, provided all the necessary information regarding the place and the city and was always available.
We stayed here over the weekend and the street got quite noisy with people partying in the evening but taking into consideration the location of this flat this was quite OK with me.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel at home in Edinburgh.
A perfectly located and well equipped flat in the heart of the Old Town. For our stay of four nights as a couple it couldn't have been better. A short walk from Waverly station and you are right in the heart of things. Lots of nice little cafes and restaurants nearby as are the main tourist sites.
The flat itself is a nice size, clean and equipped with all you could need. Well appointed kitchen with some basic foodstuffs thoughtfully supplied - even milk in the fridge. Cut flowers in each room was a nice touch. Enormous telly and sky tv could be a lifesaver if the weather really got nasty.
Christine was a great host giving us a warm welcome and lots of information on arrival.
