I like that place.
It was really cozy, and enough to stay for 4.
Though we didn't use the garden because we didn't have time, we think it might be really great if we play at there.
The location is really good, and it can be little bit hard to park near the home. There were lots of parking spots, but also tremendous cars, so if you arrive there in late night, it can be hard, but not impossible to fine a spot.
Anyway, I feel sad that we couldn't meet Valeria, but thank you for her to offer that nice room.
** When I stayed at there (phone number hidden)) , there was one more bed instead of futon.
Valeria is a warm host and provided great information ahead of our visit and when we arrived. The apartment is well located to restaurants, Golden Gate park, and buses to other parts of the city. Our only complaints were the bed was not super comfortable and the ceilings are a bit low in parts of the flat for anyone over 6ft. Apartment was good value in an expensive city like San Francisco.
This rental was a bit disappointing. If it were one or two things OR if it did't cost so much (all told $230 night for 2 people)...
Basementy feel, damp towels, dirty outdoor furniture, unkempt garden, host hard to get ahold of, polyester sheets/cheap bedding, inadequate heat, $60 cleaning fee for less then perfect cleanliness, far from city center.
Luckily most of this stuff could be addressed pretty easily.
Otherwise, It's a roomy space in a fun neighborhood, if a bit far from city center.
Valeria made us feel welcome and at home. We knew she would be available for any issues - there were none. The apt is neat and clean and in a wonderful and safe location. Parks, ocean and restaurants are close by in this very liveable neighborhood. I look forward to returning to Valieria's.
A very cute apartment in a great neighborhood near parks, transit, and an endless variety of cheap Asian eats. Valeria was very nice and helpful. The unit has limited light but a nice garden out back if you're missing the sun.
We used Valeria's apartment as a base for exploring the less touristy part of San Francisco. This area is also our favorite being close to Clement Street and Golden Gate Park as well as the Presidio.
Clement Street is a great restaurant street especially small inexpensive asian places. Golden Gate Park is a vast world famous space that spreads down to the Pacific Ocean and the Presidio is a former military post that has been open to the public for many years.
We enjoyed our home away from home as it was quiet and private and Valeria was warm and very friendly.

About the Host, Valeria
20 years of living in San Francisco is not enough to uncover and enjoy all the gems the Bay area has to offer! I am still exploring my favorite city of San Francisco and I am happy to help you in your journey!
I love hiking and can share my most beloved hikes in the area. My passions are indoor and outdoor rock climbing, Argentine Tango, traveling, and cooking. I worked with and am friends with local artists. In fact, all art pieces in the apartment are made by local artists. I can arrange a private tour for you of our numerous art studios if you are an art lover or collector.
