The space
The Hager Hideaway is a beautifully restored early-1800s farmhouse tucked away on a peaceful working farm just outside Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Bordering the Salt River and surrounded by farmland, livestock and Salt River Flora, the property offers a true Central Kentucky farm stay with plenty of country charm.

🌸 SALT RIVER FLORA

The Hager Hideaway is located on the same farm as Salt River Flora, our seasonal cut-flower farm. During flower season, the property comes alive with rows of colorful blooms, U-Pick flowers, fresh-cut bouquets, the Pink Farm Stand, photography sessions and seasonal farm events.

Flower experiences vary throughout the growing season and are not automatically included with an Airbnb reservation. Depending on availability, guests may have opportunities to U-Pick flowers, build their own bouquets, purchase fresh-cut flowers or book time in the flower fields.

💍 NEW FOR 2027 — WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Salt River Flora is expanding for the 2027 season to offer intimate weddings, receptions and special events in a relaxed, DIY-style farm setting.

Couples will be able to celebrate surrounded by seasonal flower fields, farmland and the Kentucky countryside, with The Hager Hideaway conveniently located right on the property for the wedding weekend. Salt River Flora flowers may also be incorporated into weddings, including opportunities to pick locally grown flowers for your own celebration.

🏡 THE FARMHOUSE

The 3-bedroom, 1-bath farmhouse offers a king bed in the primary bedroom, a full-size bed in one upstairs bedroom and two twin XL beds in the second upstairs bedroom. A full-size air mattress is also available for additional sleeping arrangements if needed.

Inside, guests will find a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, washer and dryer and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Outside, enjoy the covered front porch, fire pit and peaceful views of the surrounding farm.

🐾 PET FRIENDLY

Pets are welcome, and a small outdoor kennel is available upon request.

🌾 A WORKING FARM

This is an active working farm with crops, livestock and Salt River Flora. Guests may occasionally see normal farm activity or visitors attending scheduled U-Pick days, photography sessions or seasonal events. The farmhouse and immediate guest areas remain private for registered Airbnb guests.

The farmhouse is reached by a gravel farm drive, adding to its quiet and secluded country setting.

📍 EXPLORE CENTRAL KENTUCKY

Enjoy the peaceful countryside while still being convenient to Historic Downtown Harrodsburg, Danville, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and several Central Kentucky destinations. The University of Kentucky, Centre College, Asbury University and Transylvania University are also within driving distance.

Whether you’re planning a quiet farm getaway, exploring Kentucky, visiting family, touring the Bourbon Trail or dreaming about a 2027 flower-farm wedding, The Hager Hideaway offers a stay that’s a little different from an ordinary vacation rental.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to The Hager Hideaway farmhouse, covered porch, fire pit area, surrounding yard and designated parking areas throughout their stay.

🌸 SALT RIVER FLORA

Guests are welcome to enjoy views of the surrounding working farm and seasonal flower fields. During the growing season, Salt River Flora may offer U-Pick flowers, fresh-cut bouquets, the Pink Farm Stand, photography opportunities and other seasonal experiences. Access to flower fields is available during designated events or by arrangement.

Please remember that Salt River Flora is a working flower farm and portions of the property may occasionally be open to U-Pick visitors, photographers or event guests. The farmhouse and immediate Airbnb guest areas remain private for registered guests.

🌾 WORKING FARM

For guest safety, barns, livestock areas, crop fields, equipment/storage areas and other working portions of the farm are not open for general access unless specifically permitted.

💍 WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Beginning in 2027, designated areas of Salt River Flora may host weddings and private events. Wedding/event use of the property is separate from an Airbnb reservation and must be arranged and approved in advance.

A gravel farm drive provides access to The Hager Hideaway, with ample parking available near the farmhouse.

🌾 WORKING FARM

The Hager Hideaway is located on an active working farm with crops, livestock, farm equipment and seasonal agricultural activity. Guests should expect an authentic country setting, which may include tractors and farm equipment operating nearby, livestock sounds, farm workers on the property, trains in the distance and other normal rural activity.

We do our best to be considerate of our guests’ privacy and schedule farm work accordingly when possible. However, farming is weather- and season-dependent, so there may be times when work must take place during your stay.

🌸 SALT RIVER FLORA

The property is also home to Salt River Flora, our seasonal cut-flower farm. During flower season, guests may see U-Pick visitors, photographers, farm stand customers or other scheduled visitors in designated areas of the property. The farmhouse and immediate Airbnb guest areas remain private for registered guests.

U-Pick flowers, fresh-cut bouquets, photography and other flower-farm experiences may be available during your stay depending on the season, bloom conditions and farm schedule. These experiences are separate from the nightly Airbnb rate unless otherwise stated.

💍 2027 WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Beginning in 2027, Salt River Flora will also host select weddings and private events in designated areas of the farm. Depending on your stay dates, an event may be taking place elsewhere on the property.

The Hager Hideaway can also be paired with a separately booked Salt River Flora wedding or event, making it a convenient on-site stay for couples, wedding parties or family. Weddings, parties and events are not included with an Airbnb reservation and require separate arrangements and approval.

🚗 COUNTRY ACCESS

The Hager Hideaway is reached by a gravel farm drive. Most vehicles have no difficulty accessing the property, but guests should expect a short drive through an active rural farm setting.

Cell service may vary by carrier due to the countryside location.
