Spacious 3 bedroom cottage in quiet street 600m from sought after McCrae beach. Features include 1 queen bed, 2 singles and duo bunk (sleeps 7). Full kitchen, dining and lounge area with TV and DVD, wood fire heating, outdoor setting and BBQ with large garage. Fully fenced yard. Facilities include portable hammock, adult and children bikes, table tennis table and bats, balls and badminton equipment.
Area Description
Quiet beachside town located on the holiday peninsula for Melbourne. Very close to wineries, golf courses, restaurants, many scenic attractions, good shopping with much to see and do.
The McCrae property is situated on 900 square metres with plenty of room in both the front, back and side garden. The double garage situated at the back of the property can comfortably fit a car, boat, jet ski or other such ‘toys’ and can be locked.

The property itself is tastefully decorated with a ‘beach’ theme throughout the house. It is clean, comfortable and offers, families, couples or small groups the opportunity to relax in a quiet environment.

The brick exterior allows the rooms to be heated effectively with the wood fire in winter and keeps the house cool in summer.

The house is fully stocked with all Kitchen appliances and many extras. The TV / Video unit is easy to operate and the pull out sofa as an extra bonus for unexpected guests.

The laundry has a very reliable easy to operate washing machine with soap powder, pegs and basket supplied.

All bedrooms have adequate bed cover. Pillows are also supplied. Linen and towels are not supplied.

The bathroom has a separate shower and bath facility with great water pressure. There is also very good storage space in all bedrooms and linen cupboards.

Overall the house is very well maintained, inside and out, and offers residents the opportunity to have a ‘hassle free’ vacation.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Dromana @ Andrew's place. The house is nice, quite big, clean and tidy. The backyard is very nice, with everything you need (BBQ...).
    Andrew was very helpful and so welcoming we felt like @ home.

  • My family and I had great (email hidden) crea house! The house has a good location, its close to the beach and the shops. There is so much to see around on the peninsula. We didn't spend much time in the house, we just slept there and used the kitchen for breakfast in the mornings, the kitchen have everything you need. we used the BBQ one night, the house has a cosy back yard.
    Andrew was great to deal with. I found him polite and trustful.

    The area was very nice (even with a lot of rain that weekend!), with some good walks round Arthur's Seat and Dromana.

    Andrew was very accommodating and helpful, considering we booked the place at the last minute.

  • Andrew was easy to deal with and very responsive. For a family the house has all the facilities you need. The rates are very reasonable for the Mornington Peninsula in Summer so you can't expect to find yourself surrounded by luxury modern appointments. Overall the house is very good value, much more so than you would get in a motel as it is completely self contained. While the house is not a new home everything works and really the only thing that I would suggest improving (assuming the current value rental rate) is the carpet in the main living area which is a little worn. With young kids the fact that the block has a yard that can be secured was a plus.The location is very handy as you are close to the freeway, beach and supermarkets. We enjoyed trips to the beach, the maze on Mount Martha and the Dromana Drive In, all of these are very close. A walk to the bay beach is 5 minutes and for those who like to walk or run the foreshore trail is real bonus. The nearest beach is clean and safe as it is a bay beach. Those looking for waves would need to travel to the back beaches. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

I live on the Peninsula and teach in one of the local schools and enjoy golf and going for the occasional run. My hobbies revolve around my children although both girls now live mostly away from home but still have a 14 yo boy with lots of sports and interests
