This visit marks my third or fourth time staying at Igor's apartment. The location is great (close to Union Square & great neighborhood businesses/restaurants). Igor is a great host: responded to all emails or phone calls & he met me at the apartment for arrival & key delivery. The apartment is comfortable; providing the basics for a satisfying stay in NYC. Igor has successfully made efforts to brighten up the apartment...Thanks Igor.

Getting the apartment keys was easy and smooth. This apartment was exactly what my party was looking for in terms of experiencing the city like a local. The apartment was accurately depicted in the photos. Location was great! Only a few blocks to great late night eats in East Village and the subway. Igor was a great host and answered all our questions promptly. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartement has other furniture then in the pictures. The kitchen is full of private stuff, its hard to cook because there is not a lot of space for preparing the food. The bathroom looks different too, the shower curtain was dirty so we couldnt use it. All wardrobes were full, so we had to put our two luggages open in the already tiny (website hidden) is very loud and sometimes it didnt really cool down the room. It takes about 10 Min walk to the next subway (6 Train) and you always have to climb up the 5 floors to the apartement. The area is safe and there is a good grocery store just around the corner also a laundry service. All in all the apartement is okay but overprized, after we had to pay 200$ per night he asked for another 40$ for each person per day! At the end he agreed with not paying the extra 80$ a day. Due to the loud AC you dont hear anything from the neighbours.
It was hard to communicate with Igor he acted stuborn and aggressive. He didn't pay attention to our contract which said that check out time is always possible. He didnt show up at HIS appointed check out time, so we couldnt give him the keys back. He asked us to bring them although he was 2h! late. We were quite disappointed about the way he communicated with us. Thats why we cant really recommend it. I dont like to give bad reviews but i am just telling my experience.
For the first time I had very bad experience with the guests. Starting with a bargaining for the price and ending up being rude. Nadja made a booking for 2 people and had the 3rd guest (who was very rude and arrogant on the phone and text and in person with me). The extra guest fee is in the description of the property and all guests aware of it (not Nadja though). After the booking was made her guest ahead of time started calling me and asking for the keys (very aggressive and arrogant). After Nadja checked in everything went fine, they asked me for the extra pair or keys and in a couple of days I had it ready (the extra guest while being rude on the phone was 35 mins late to pick them up). On the night before checking out we texted with her regarding the keys and checking out (most of the time I ask guest to have their luggage ready by 11am , in case they have a late flight they can always leave the bags until whatever time they need). Her response was -"Come at 4 pm, I moved in at 3 pm thats why I will be staying till 3pm at least!!!". After talking back and forth on the text message it wasnt really clear to me what time she will be moving out. Eventually, all keys were taken by Nadja and her guests. HEr response was- "It is your fault that you didnt come on time to take them".
After all I have nothing personal about this all situation but I believe that this kind of arrogance is not a good match for airbnb guest. Be aware of this kind of situations with Nadja.
Apartment is located in Gramercy Park and is close to subway lines and Union Square. It was clean and had plenty of linens and towels. Wifi was a plus! Igor was really responsive to our questions. We didn't mind that it was on the 6th floor = 6 flight of stairs as we travel light.
