Musrara (Arabic: مصرارة‎, Hebrew: מוסררה‎) also known by its Hebrew name, Morasha is a neighborhood in the heart of Jerusalem.
It is considered one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Jerusalem and it is a living testimony to its history beauty & diversity.

Location: between the downtown area, the Old City walls and the ultra-orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim.

Character: Historic neighborhood that is filled with charm of past and excitement of future.

Founded: by wealthy Arab residents of the Old City of Jerusalem in the early 1900s, as they sought to break out of the walls and construct a luxurious residential neighborhood adjacent to the Old City, which was still the major area for all religious and social needs.

Construction style: Musrara consisted of mostly private villas with gardens that have private entrances, beautiful masonry and shingled roofs.
Current day: Musrara consisting of secular and religious Jews, Christians and Arabs.

Cultural establishments: The various cultural establishments draw artists and art-lovers to the neighborhood.
Among these are the Musrara Photography, Media & Music School, the Ma'ale Film School, the Turgaman art gallery and many more.

Musrara has become a popular destination for architecture enthusiasts, who gather to visit the neighborhood and houses.
