Linda made me feel very welcome, communicated pleasantly & made sure we were coordinated with the keys! :o) Her house was a lovely treasure of visual & conceptual design. It made me feel like I was in a special and somewhat magical place. A touch surreal! I enjoyed chatting with Linda and her other guests before heading out to explore Asbury Park. I keep smiling.
I can't say enough good things about Linda and her beautiful eclectic home. Upon arriving, Linda showed me the house and provided me with a map of Asbury Park. A quick 5 minute walk I was on Cookman Ave where I met a friend for dinner. The bed was comfortable and although there was an AC in the room I did not need it with the cool shore breeze. In the morning Linda left the coffee pot full with mugs, you can enjoy this in her comfortable backyard. I headed straight to the beach, a 10 minute walk. I have already recommended Linda's house to others and plan on returning next summer.
Linda was a fantastic host! She was very welcoming, and her space is well set up for guests including use of a mini fridge. She goes to all lengths to ensure her guests are comfortable. Blocks to the ocean and town, ample parking. We enjoyed some quiet time sitting in her back yard. Her house is beautiful and colorful. We would highly recommend staying here!
Very cute and unique place!! Linda was a great and accomodating host! My friend and I give her 2 thumbs up! :)
The good: Linda greeted us when we arrived and gave us a map and quick layout of the area, which was helpful. The home was very clean and ready for our stay. Its proximity to everything is very convenient. The bathroom was beautiful, large and seemed to be open anytime we needed it.
The potential challenges: The beds aren't on box springs and could be a bit uncomfortable if you are sensitive. The bathroom is on the floor below (2nd) and bedroom is up very steep stairs on the 3rd with low ceilings. If you're tall (not us) it could be an issue. The pics make the whole house look much larger (wide angle or fish eye lens?) than it is. It didn't really matter, just something to consider.
The great: There was plenty of parking during weekdays. Several great restaurants that were vegetarian friendly in walking distance. The front porch had a little breeze and comfy chairs and we loved hanging there (just us) at night.
We had another great weekend at Asbury in Linda's home. We will have three more. That's how much we like it.
Linda was the perfect host! Everything was exactly as described. Her home is whimsical... We truly enjoyed our mini vacation! So many pluses to staying at Linda's.
Room is nicely decorated, quiet, comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a dream... Location is very close distance to the beach which made our stay so great! We look forward to staying at Linda's again soon!
