I'm renting my fully furnished apartment in central Berlin (you don't share a bathroom or kitchen - it totally yours!) - fast W-Lan!

It is situated in Kreuzberg, very close to Bergmannstrasse (U 6, metro) at the very quiet court site.

Perfect for a couple, but also for a single or two friends (sharling one large bed). The apartment is about 370 square feet /35 qm in size and consists of a

large living area with double bed (1,60 x 2,0 metres)
an adjoining kitchen and
a bathroom with shower.

The apartment is on the 4. floor (no lift) of an old (1880) and recently renovated building, very quiet, bright and sunny without car noise.
The apartment is fully equipped: washing machine, TV, coffeemachine, refrigerator, brandnew electric stove, bed, dishes, toster, fast Wi-Fi, baby cot ..... including fresh linen and towels and a hairdryer.
No smoking only. No pets. Check-out at noon latest!

The U-Bahn (check (website hidden)) U6 Platz der Luftbrücke (250m) runs from south to north and takes you within 10 min to the Französische Strasse or Friedrichstrasse (close to Brandenburger Tor), with buses then directly to the airport Tegel.
Another U-Bahn (U7) runs east-west and is about 5 min walking away. This metro line runs after Rudow, there you take the bus directly to the Airport Schönefeld. Bus stops (eg to Alexanderplatz) are also within walking distance.

The Bergmannstrasse area is well- known for its broad mix of cultures and lifestyles and because it is the center of Kreuzberg 61. It (email hidden)ly environment with a remarkable number of small clothing or gift shops, bars and restaurants.
On Marheinekeplatz (within walking distance) you can discover one of the finest markets Berlin, (open every day) with organic products and excellent food stalls. A supermarket (Kaisers) is open till midnight, Netto till 10 pm. On Saturday there's a small farmers market at Chamissoplatz.
The Victoria Park or the giant Tempelhof park are also worth a visit - the former airport site is a fresh-air haven in the center - relaxing after all the museums you might have visited during the day!

Daytime activities:
Strolling around Bergmannstrasse
Eating lunch at Marheinekeplatz (covered market)
Turkish Market on Maybachufer (Tuesday, Friday)
Reichtagskuppel (parlament building) register via Internet - (website hidden)
Rent a bicycle at Bergmannstrasse (10 E/day) and explore Berlin
Potsdam - park Sanssouci

former airport Tempelhof, Victoriapark, Gleisdreieck (newly opened)

Technikmuseum, Jewish Museum, Bodemuseum, Pergamonmuseum

Watergate, Berghain, Festsaal Kreuzberg, Huxleys, Columbiahalle, Tempodrom

During your stay is always somebody in the house nearby, who answers questions or can help you.

  • Sabine is very nice. She welcomed us & ran us through all details regarding the apartment and the neighbourhood. We informed her we will be arriving late. She was very kind & accomodating.
Loved the neighborhood, Kreuzberg. Cobble stone streets, buildings with beautiful architecture, close to the subway stops. Quiet, not noisy at all!
Only few short blocks away to Bergman Strasse, which is the main happening street with all the restaurants, and coffee shops.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Sabine's apartment. It is great for two people.
It was central and only a five minute walk to the subway.

We fell in love with the location. It wasn't touristy which I liked and filled with lots of nice restaurants, cafés and locals.

The apartment was clean, tidy and perfect for a three night stay in Berlin. We could have happily stayed longer.

Sabine was kind enough to let us check in early as well as help us with directions and recommendations. She is very approachable and genuine.

We travelled to Munich from Berlin and Sabine helped us find information we were lacking.

I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended apartment and host.

Empfehlenswert!

  • Sabine's place was perfect and exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for during our short stay in Berlin. The place is just a couple minutes away from the U-BAHN line and there's a ton of cute cafes, restaurants, and shops in the neighborhood. We tried to walk a different way home each time and still didn't see everything. Sabine was out of town when we came in, but she had a friend who lives just a block away handle giving us the keys and getting us set up - super easy and no problems at all. Check out was even simpler - just leave the keys inside and head out. Bed was comfortable, lots of outlets to charge things, washer/dryer worked great to take care of a few items while we were there. The hot water doesn't last too long, but it's still totally manageable and if you have multiple people, just wait 10 minutes and it'll be all good again for the next person. A warning to anyone with lots of luggage though -- the apartment is in a walk-up - up about 5 or 6 flights of stairs - not an issue for us at all, but just be aware if that concerns you. Overall - great place, and a great experience for us in Berlin.
