Great location, in the heart of Qingdao CBD, as you could see in the map. This serviced apartment is in the 14th floor, with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. There is a bus station within 100 meters. It is in walking distance from the most important North-South road Shandong Road. I have about 5 more apartments listed on Airbnb, all in Wanda Plaza, with Internet access (WIFI) and almost the same layout and home appliances. Please be assured that what you see is what you get. Wanda Plaza is a large-scale building complex integrating multiple architectural functions and business modes like hotel（Le Meridien）, office building, public space, shopping mall(including the Japanese supermarket Jusco or AEON), entertainment facilities, and apartments. A 24-hour Mcdonald's is just downstairs and three 24-hour stores like 7-11 are within 3 minutes of walking. All of this will make your stay here much more convenient.
Apparently the host expects a deposit in cash on arrival although it was not mentioned neither on the listing nor in our conversation prior to making the booking but Zhendong understood our surprise and waved it. The apartment could have been cleaner but was adequately furnished. It is centrally located although it takes a long time to go places with public transportation. But the arrival of the subway will change all that. Zhendong was friendly and made himself available if we needed anything.

Hi I'm Zhendong, you call also call me Steven. I live in Qingdao, a beautiful costal city that has a number of great beaches, fresh seafood, world known Tsingtao Beer, cool climate, booming economy, and both skycrapers in the downtown area and historic German buildings in the old town.
As you may or may not know, instead of hotels, living in lodges from local people or in my case apartments is a better choice. You can save your money for the same facilities or services that could otherwise be provided in hotels. You can experience the culture and mingle. I could speak fluent English. If you need I could tell you how to get to the place that you want to go or recommend some places. See me as your receptionist or concierge as in hotels.
As more and more foreigners are becoming my guests, I find there is a need to tell you more about the transportation so that I don't have to individually send you messages on Airbnb. This will make you trip easier. All my apartments listed are in Wanda Plaza, No.112, Yanji Road. That is about 20 kilometers away from the Airport or 7 kilometers away from the railway station. As foreigners don't have Chinese SIM cards and therefore can't contact me by phone. Here is how you can reach me. If you come to Qingdao by air, you can take airport bus 1 or otherwise called bus 701 (get (email hidden) Building广电大厦, then take a taxi, about 1 kilometers away to your apt) or airport bus 2 or otherwise called bus 702( get off at Sifang Hotel四方大酒店) and then take a taxi (about 4 kilometers). You can come to my office to get the key, it's Room 2816, Business Tower A, Wanda Plaza, No.112, Yanji Road. You apt will be in Tower A or Tower B or Residential Building 1 of Wanda. If you take a train to Qingdao, you can take Bus 307 or 320 and get off at the Archive Station (档案馆）or just take a taxi (about 20 yuan). Let me know your arrival time so that I can be in my office when you get here. Sending me messages via BNB whether you are in Qingdao (when you have the access to the Internet) or not will always have my quick response. FYI, all my apts have free WIFI. No sarcasm but we do can log on this Airbnb website here in China, at least for now.
My personal phone and email will be seen on Airbnb once you successfully complete the reservation. Oh, I almost forgot this. It's very important. If you ever get lost and could not contact me, show your address Wanda Plaza, Yanji Road (延吉路万达, you can print these Chinese words out）to passers-by, drivers or police.
