My century old house is ideally located in the center of The Hague and has a spacious private bedroom and a great rooftop terrace.
The whole house is about 120 m² (1300 ft²), of which roughly 17 m² (180 ft²) is your private bedroom. The lower floor has large living and dining rooms, a study and a kitchen. The upper floor has the two bedrooms, bathroom and the 27 m² (290 ft²) terrace.
Even though I work a lot and have a pretty busy life I'm almost always able to be home at a arrival time that's convenient for you. I also enjoy getting to know my guests so don't hesitate to look me up for a chat and to make use of the living rooms, kitchen and rooftop terrace.
Interaction with Guests
Always feel free to ask me for some help to find your way around the place and the city. I'll be happy to pull out some maps, brochures and personal recommendations for anyone that wants to do some sight seeing or experience some Dutch culture!
The apartment is situated within the city center of the Hague, though in a calm residential area. It has, so to speak, best of both worlds: the close proximity of shops, nightlife and entertainment, but at the same time it has a ample parking space, quietness at night, and easy accessibility.
The main shopping, leisure, nightlife and business areas, both main train stations and stops for all trams and main buses are all just a short walk and Scheveningen beach is just 15 minutes by direct tram connection from around the corner.
There is easy access to the highways and this is the only place in downtown The Hague with safe free parking space nearby. Both railway and highway connections enable quick access to all surrounding cities, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft, Gouda and Utrecht. Amsterdam International Airport is just 30 minutes away by either train or car.
Other Things to Note

Of course you're welcome to use the kitchen for cooking anytime. Supermarkets are nearby and the convenience store next door is open from 7.30 until (phone number hidden)c supplies.
No problems at all. Tom is friendly, welcoming and easy to get on with. The place is a good size and perfectly located for most of den Haag. I still can't get coffee machines to work but this isn't Tom's fault. Altogether very good.
Everything was perfect (location, room, bed) and Tom is a great host. Thanks a lot

Tom is friendly, perfectly fluent in English, and sharp. His place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I felt welcome. Tom was home to meet me when I said. Well-located, the place is not hard to find. Thanks a lot!
Tom was very welcoming. He loves travel himself and have helpful suggestions for our time in the area. The bed was very comfortable. The room is large clean quiet and bright, on the top/3rd level overlooking a quiet street in a mixed neighbourhood. Loved it. Tom works from home so he is busy. Still we had some good conversations. Thank you Tom.
Communication with Tom went flawless. We had a great time in his apartment. It's perfectly situated for people who want to stay right in the center and discover Den Haag, it was a short walk into the center.
We had interesting conversations with Tom and also received many tips on what to do in Den Haag!
