This lovely studio flat is newly refurbished and very comfortable for a city trip or just to relax. With a lot of privacy, 20 min walking from the city center and in the middle of lush gardens and embassies, this is a top location to discover Dublin!

The Space

Modern, lovely studio, very suited for a city trip. The city centre is easy accessible both by foot and public transport (plus, cabs are very affordable and easy to hail). The beautiful Herbert Park is just around the corner. City bikes, busses and all other amenities are within minutes distance. With the Aircoach stop in front of the house the airport is just within 45 minutes distance. It is very suitable for couples or close friends as it will facilitate two people. With a limited amount of square meters it is not big but due to the excellent refurbishment, location and design it is comfortable enough for two people.

Guest Access

Independent studio with an own kitchen and bathroom, with a very private feel to it. It is a cosy, small apartment but very well equipped and suited to stay for a couple or close friends.
There will be a Lonely Planet Ireland available, as well as maps of the city.

Interaction with Guests

I will take care of a handover of the keys and I will provide a note as a manual of the place, as well as recommendations for your stay.
During your stay I will be easily reached by phone or email. Check out will be easy as you can just leave the keys on the table. Check out time is very well discussable and I really don't mind guests to check out in the (late) evening. In short: everything is open for discussion, as long as it improves your stay.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is very upscale, residential and green. All the embassies are just around the corner, just as some lovely supermarkets (the Donnybrook Fair is 20 meters away and serves as a very large deli). The flowers and blossoming trees make for excellent walks, now in March it is already beautiful!

Getting around

In front of the house the Aircoach stops (Leopard route, the public transport connection to the airport). Various busses to the city stop in front of the place. Guests who want to visit nearby coastal sights, such as Howth, can get on the Dart just at the Landsdowne Road train station, within 15 minutes walking distance.

Other Things to Note

Tea, coffee, kitchen staples and some snacks are included in your stay, just to make sure you have something nice to eat, even if you arrive too late to head out for a bit or breakfast. I often leave home baked surprise treats for my guests (I wasn't sure whether visitors would like it, but the responses have been really positive).

  • Eline was a fabulous host and the apartment was great and clean. She was so wonderful in the planning process and very flexible with check in and check out. I really cannot say enough good things about Eline. She even left me a wonderful breakfast after the long flight from the US. The location is not as convenient to the City Centre, but it is in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood.

  • Eline made sure everything was in order, sent instructions for getting to her place from the airport, and even baked us a cake! (One of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Seriously.) Her flat is within close walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the immediate area was a nice, quite residential street. The entire experience was lovely!

  • Cosy wee spot, ideal for the RDS for the rugby or a quick walk or bus into town. Everything you need to make your stay in Dublin great. And I'm not just saying that because Eline baked me a cake!

  • Couldn't of asked for a better accommodations during our short trip through Dublin. Great communication and very cordial. Would definitely recommend!

  • Eline was a great host leaving us a bottle of wine and some flap jacks for our arrival! The place was lovely and cosy and a perfect little place to stay for our break in Dublin. Although slightly outside the city the bus links into town went from right outside the apartment and were great. Eline's tips and advice for things to do were fab and we really loved Howth and the little French wine shop not far from her place. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Thanks Eline!

  • Eline is such a nice person! She even baked us a cake for our arrival!

Her flat is really cute and big enough for 2 persons. The only negative point is the fact that it is a little bit far from Dublin center (as we were just here for a week-end, we wish it was closer) - I would say about 30 minutes by walk from the center. But many buses came in front of Eline's place which was nice. We followed her recommendations (food, going away in Howth) and were never disappointed - she really has good advice.
Other than that, the flat was clean and although there was really no pressure in the shower (but she wrote it in her description so it was not a suprise - we were just not used to it), we slept really well and enjoyed our stay in Eline's place!
Also, she is really flexible on our check in and check out time which was really convenient since our plane was late on the Sunday.
Thanks again for everything Eline !

  • This has been our first Arbnb experience and it couldn´t get better.
Eline is an excellent host; she always helped us, and provided great tips that made our stay very pleasant.
The place is located in a beautiful and charming area. It is just minutes walking to Temple Bar St. Also connections to public transportation are superb. Good choice!
