After a few clear instructions and a warm welcome, we stayed 3 nights in this clean appartement. We really enjoyed the facilities like airconditioning, fridge and the cutlery. The location was perfect; 5 minutes walk from the railwaystation and the San Marco was walkable in 20 minutes.
Conclusion: the appartment was even better than we hoped for, and we can definitely recommend it!
We never got to meet Elisa..we meet Danny the assistant, who was more than helpful.A map and some tour brochures, would have been handy in the room rather than paying 3 Euros over at the information centre as most of the other Airbnb hosts have provided. The room was as described... Very clean.... The air conditioning was a blessing as we had some very hot days in Venice... the fridge is a wine cooler and good enough to chill milk and beer... as for Wi-Fi I would give it a 2 out of 10.... position could not have been better....I would recommend this private room for its great location...
We did not meet elisa, but we met danny instead. He is very polite and informative- recommending us where to eat. The room is just across the st lucia station and roma pizzale - it is behind a green dome church. it is very convenient as we had daytrips to milan expo and verona. The food around there is very cheap as well. They also provided 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days of accommodation - cups and plates and fridge provided as well. I will definitely recommend to my singaporean friends to stay here when they visit venice.
The location is fantastic and the building is charming and very secure. Neighborhood is very good and everything is easily accessible. The room itself is good - nice size bathroom (for Europe) and small frig, and the bed is very comfy. I would highly recommend keeping the windows closed....the mosquitos swarm in very quickly and the wall plugin that is meant to control them didn't help at all.
You're provided what's in the listing but if you're wanting or needing input from Elisa, she's only minimally accessible. Regardless, it's a great place to stay and you can't beat the price and location for what you're getting. I'd stay again if I were in Venice for sure!
Great room & location. We did not have wifi throughout our stay and host did not provide any solutions. Despite giving 8 hours notice of change to travel plans, we still had to wait 2 hours to check in.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la chambre privée à Venise. Elle est très bien situé 9le train) et très tranquille . Agréable de s'y promener le soir. Merci à Danny pour les bons conseils.
