Grazie

  • The host was there to meet us as he said he would. Briefly showed us through the place and helpfully answered questions. Told us to contact him if we wanted to book a taxi when we left for airport or if we had any problems.
Position very convenient to bus, train station, taxi cab, good eating areas & Colosseum & ancient city.
However, jots never returned any of our emails or texts, the kettle didn't boil water, the microwave didn't heat things up.

  • Stefano is an excellent host, was there finishing off the cleaning when we arrived, no problem with texting to confirm times etc. The flat is lovely and cosy, good bedding and towels etc, a little dark and on a slightly noisy road but it appears italian police are not aware that their cars can actually be driven without the sirens which maybe would make noise an issue anywhere. It's on the ground floor and the only real window opens on to the footpath so if you're keen on lots of privacy this maybe might be an issue. It really is around the corner from the Coliseum and very close to everything, the ancient parts of Rome are very close together. Two supermarkets close by as well as a number of smaller shops and some great little restaurants. Trams, busses, metro and taxis all close by. If you're after off the beaten track this probably isn't it, it really is on the beaten track, right in the centre of everything. I went for a run on our last morning and managed the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the alter of the fatherland memorial, Piazza Venezia, Tiberius Island, and finished up with a sprint along the Circus Maximus. All in 6k. Heaps of fun and an excellent base which you can make the best use of with the extensive collection of english guides eg lonely planet etc) in house.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stefano's apartment! Stefano was very kind, and was waiting for us when we arrived to drop off luggage early. The apartment is in a great location and worked perfect for us and our 2 kids (ages 9 and 11). Thanks again for a great vacation in Roma, Stefano!

  • Stefano's flat was wonderful! Clean and comfortable- just like the pictures. He was waiting for us when we got in and was very friendly. The flat is in an excellent location- we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go in Rome, but there is plenty of public transport close by if you need it. Would stay here again.

  • We have stayed for two nights in Stefano's apartment and have enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is very well located, but still quiet. It is very clean and offers enough space for a family of four. Stefano was very helpful and we can only recommend staying in his apartment.

  • Stephano's apartment was just like the info and pics provided. The place was beautifully designed and above all, very clean. A quick walk to the metro and bus stops, so convenient. Step out your door, turn the corner and you are greeted with the site of the Colosseum! Just beautiful. The bed was marvelous. Only compliments, no drawbacks. And, thank you for the champagne, it was so thoughtful.

  • Our stay at this apartment was amazing. We were so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment was clean, spacious and exactly like the pictures. It was the perfect start to our European adventure. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Rome for the first time as the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are all right at your door step and it's a short walk to places such as the Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps as well as close to some delicious cafés, restaurants and cocktail bars. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting Rome again I will be sure to stay in Stefano's apartment. He was friendly, approachable and if you ever needed anything he would be more than happy to help. Thanks Stefano for allowing us to stay with you.

  • Great location, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Cosy accomodation, though hot water was a bit limited. Stefano was a great host, would recommend this place!
