  • The loft was fantastic! Close to hikes and wineries. We had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. The place was clean and there was lots of helpful information about local attractions. It was exactly what I was looking for.

  • We greatly enjoyed our stay at the loft. The place was perfectly situated to allow us access to wonderful morning hikes off of Skyline Drive and excellent afternoon driving ventures through lovely windy roads. We topped off several of our driving ventures with a visit to some unique and totally cool wineries (Stone Mountain, Moss, and Glass House - beautiful - great drive and fun hosts - on the first day). We did a farther south hike the second day (RipRap trail) and visited Cardinal, Pollack, and King Family and hung out on the grounds of King Family enjoying our lunch and a beautiful view). It was also an easy drive to C'ville for dinner one evening, though we were happy to cook in at the well appointed Loft at Greene Mtn.

  • Absolutely amazing, clean and well decorated home. My expectations, which were high to begin, were blown out of the water. Close to so much (Several vineyards, Charlottesville, Shenandoah National Park) yet tucked out of the way. VERY comfortable. Maybe too comfortable, we didn't want to leave. Felt like home from the moment we walked in.
We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Loft at Green Mountain Lake.

  • The Loft was a great find and well worth the price. I made last minute reservations and Paul and Marilee were very accommodating. Two thumbs up!

  • My wife and I spent the weekend here with another couple. It was true to the advertisement and if we're in that area we'll certainly consider staying again.

  • An amazing little find that's hidden in the trees. Our weekend was a lot of fun and relaxing in a cabin that was far beyound what we expected. This was a cabin weekend with style!

  • This is a beautiful condo, and kept in immaculate condition. We stayed there for a weekend, and found the kitchen well enough equipped to do all our cooking there, both on the stove and on the grill. The location is very convenient, as others have mentioned, for visiting the local wineries and the Shenandoah National Park. We did make use of the canoe. The lake is quite small and not very deep. It was nice for a peaceful canoeing trip, but maybe not so much for swimming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!

  • This is a great condo central to many of the best Virginia wineries and a good jumping off point for hikes in Shenandoah. We had hoped the condo would be a little more secluded, but the interior mad up for that. It was clean and comfortable with a modern kitchen, grill, and patio. The wifi didn't work while we were there, and the lake was not impressive (seemed dirty and there was trash all over the area by the boat launch), but those would be my only downside comments. Otherwise it was perfect for what we wanted - a quiet retreat for post-hike and winery adventures. Paul and Marilee were very responsive and getting in and out was a breeze.

  • Prachtig, schoon, volledig ingericht appartement. Ruime keuken, schoon sanitair en mooi dakterras. Mooie ligging in rustige wijk. Wij hebben absoluut genoten van ons verblijf hier. Ligging is op 15 km van een ingang van Shenandoah National Park, waar we heerlijk hebben gewandeld.
