In the very medieval center and the artists district of Perugia a fascinating ancient apartment with all modernity comforts!
I renovated this apartment living it, for ten years, adding things that I loved, following the suggestions of a district that lives and breathes ... then I left, just about to move upstairs, but continuing to love the stone and the wood ...
There are two bedrooms, one with a large double bed, the other with a comfortable double sofa bed and ... a piano!
The kitchen completely accessoried with the dishwasher, the washing machine (with possible access to the use of the dryer), will make longer stays more comfortable and cheap.
Free wi-fi internet line is available.
You will live in the most lively district of the city, with restaurants, clubs where music is played almost every day, artists' workshops are open to sharing.

I live upstairs and I'm always available. I've always lived in the district and the center of Perugia and I love to share information and suggestions on the town and activities!
The house is situated in a popular and attractive district just a few hundred meters from the main square and the Cathedral.
The maze of narrow streets, unexpected squares, historic buildings make it a place full of charm and energy, in every season.
It has recently become home to artists' workshops and is making its mark in the city for the variety of cultural and recreational activities, from street theater to the phantasmagoric parties with music and dancing, and activities for the kids!
We are one step from the Minimetrò station (Pincetto) and the joints of principal city bus lines (Porta Pesa, Galleria Kennedy, Piazza Italia).
You can reach the University for Foreigners and all the faculties of the center with a five minute walk.
It's not easy to drive the car in the center of Perugia (it's only open in the afternoon and not all the streets), but at a short distance there are numerous car parks, some of them free of charge.
Other Things to Note

Abbiamo trascorso tre magnifiche giornate e ci farà piacere tornare!
Claudia's apartment is one of a kind. Comfortable, cosy and very special.
We were in Perugia for work and couldn't spend much time home but really enjoyed the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the apartment. Located in a street with lots of personality- artists' studios, nice shops and even street art!
Very well furnished, we had all we needed.
Claudia is an excellent host, she provided different kinds of milk, juices, a lot of fresh fruit and bread that came in very handy for we arrived late on a sunday. And a big plus, her homemade granola and a nice bottle of red wine!
Claudia is a wonderful host. She met us at the train station, helped us deal with a lost bag, recommended superb restaurants, and was available for any questions we had during our time in Perugia. The apartment is so lovely and perfectly located! The kitchen is well equipped and Claudia had thoughtfully provided some breakfast items and fruit which were much appreciated after our travels. We cooked dinner a few nights and truly felt at home in the apartment. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with generous closet space. The entire apartment is so charming and you will instantly feel comfortable. The area around the apartment is filled with working artists, welcoming restaurants and little side streets to explore. The grocery and shopping are a quick walk and the mini-metro is only a few blocks away so you can easily get to the main train station or the soccer stadium. We hope to make it back to Perugia again and would not think of staying anywhere else. Our daughter is studying at the university and the location was very convenient to both her classes and her apartment ... it is so much nicer to be in a home versus a hotel for an extended visit.
Claudia was a great host! We visited Perugia on our honeymoon and were welcomed with flowers, champagne, and a cozy apartment. The location is on a quite side street, but is an entertaining part of Perugia in itself - more artistic, colorful, and intimate.
The place was more than enough space for we two, though the bathroom/toilet required some maneuvering to fit comfortably.
It came with breakfast goodies (cookies, homemade granola, soy and normal milk, juice, teas, coffee, sugar, salt, etc.), fast internet, and just a short walk to the center of Perugia, a nice selection of caffè bars, a grocery shop, and the Euro chocolate festival (if you happen to be staying there while it's going on).
The apartment is located in a charming street in central Perugia and was a dream to stay in. Claudia is a five star host and ensured every detail was covered to make for a comfortable stay including a lavish breakfast layout complete with her homemade granola! Grazie Claudia.
Claudia's apartment was the very best of all four air bnb's we two Canadian Grannies stayed in during our European trip. Claudia not only welcomed us at the station, but also delivered us to the bus station a week later. The apartment had everything we needed., Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.
There was enough basic food already supplied that we could relax, and not have to think about searching for the local Co-op. So we put our feet up, had a cup of tea, then a glass or two of wine, also provided by Claudia, and celebrated our good fortune in finding this place. One night during the week, the apartment felt a little chilly, I emailed Claudia, and within half an hour she was at our door to explain how to turn on the heat. The location was very convenient, we loved going walkabout and getting lost and found in Perugia. We also made day trips to explore Assisi (do visit the fortress) and Gubbio (for an adventure, try the Funuvia). Margaret and Pat
Claudia is easily the best host we have met on airbnb. She collected us from the station, explained everything in the well-equipped apartment and made some terrific suggestions for dining out. She quickly responded to all our enquiries and made us feel so welcome.
The apartment was fabulous. Centrally located, spacious, warm and comfortable. She even gave us some of her home-made granola. It is hard to explain just how wonderful Claudia is, and how her hospitality helped us to have the most enjoyable time in Perugia. Utterly delightful!
