Minimalist, efficient 3 bed apt is 5 min from downtown Cleveland and 10 min from college campuses and hospitals. Comfortably fits 3-8 people and off street parking garage! One block from the major highway and public metro transportation.
Close to the I-90 highway, which is great for road trips! The apt is part of a residential district with other small apartment buildings and family residences. It is also in walking distance from the independent arts district for the east side of Cleveland.
Each guest will have access to kitchenette with electric range oven, toaster, coffee pot, towel, hand towel and face towel along with an assortment of natural soap, castile soap shampoo, moisturizer and fragrance oils. The rear door is off limits and for emergency exit only.
I will be present on site in a separate apartment. Good people always have good conversations, so expect brief, cordial conversation at minimum!
Our immediate neighborhood is in a rebuilding process yet is one block away from the illustrious Village of Bratenahl which features walking and bike paths with a view of the Lake Erie on Lakeshore Blvd. Our building tenants have started a community garden and also work to make our home energy efficient with green technology that also lowers harmful electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs).
Public transportation is one block away. Pickup from the local subway station or from the airport can be arranged for a nominal extra fee as well.
This space is also ideal for families that are moving a new college student on campus but either have too many people or too little money to accommodate near-campus housing. Independent thinking upper-class and graduate students are also welcome to stay for a semester or two.

Chester stayed up for our late arrival and was very accommodating. After our long trip we appreciated the two bedrooms with two large beds and good mattresses!
We rented Chester's home for two weeks while we were in Cleveland working at the IX Center. There was a group of 5 of us and we found his home very comfortable for that amount of people! Chester was an amazing and gracious host, providing breakfast items, teas, and coffees, and he even cooked us an amazing breakfast on the weekend! It is perfect for large groups and is stocked with all the necessities for cooking your own meals. I would highly recommend this property! Thanks Chester, you're awesome! !
Chester is very kind and hospitable, the house is warm and cozy, the neighbourhood is quiet and convenient to access the freeway. It's a wonderful time for us to spend 2 weeks in Cleveland, very appreciated.
Chester was a super nice guy who was pretty accommodating for the few things we asked for after arrival - he even let me park the car in his garage (which I was grateful for). While this probably isn't the place to use as a home base to go sightseeing around Cleveland or spend a bit of quality time in, it is suited for a group of 3+ for a one night stopover.
Chester is a great host and took my very last minute reservation and for that I am eternally grateful. We arrived at 3 am and left at 9 am. It was only a night stop but the place was very basic and I was hoping not to see the cockroaches because it felt like and smelled like home for them. I am sorry to say I would not be staying there ever again. I would not recommend it unless it is truly a last minute stop and you have no other choice.
Chester is a warm, hospitable, and helpful host. He's very accommodating and flexible, and a great resource while in the area. Thanks, Chester!
Chester is a more than nice host, helpful and really interesting. The friend I was supposed to meet there didn't come, but Chester'smile and open spirit really helped me to get over it. Wonderful stay!
Chester's apartment is wonderful! It's in a great up and coming arts district in Cleveland, with awesome galleries, music venues and record stores within a 10 minute walk. Chester is very hospitable, providing coffee/tea, fruit and cereal, as well as wonderful homemade soaps, lotions and incense. His neighbours were also very welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. If you're going to be in Cleveland, make no mistake - stay at Chester's for goodness sake!
Chester was very kind and let us stay with virtually no notice; 30 minutes the night of, to be exact. The place itself is a little run-down and not exactly cozy, but it's fine if you're just passing through town and need a place to crash, which was what we did. Plenty of street parking too if you have a car.
Chester was very sweet to us. He went out of his way to pick us up from the station and even drove us in to town to collect our rental car and then when the office in the centre of town was closed he drove us all the way to the airport and waited for us so we could follow him home!!! He looked after us from start to finish by recommending places to eat etc...
The house was clean if a little dark!!!
All in all a good stay in an up and coming location of cleveland.
