This modern, urban one bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Midtown. It's a true converted artist's loft with stained concrete floors, original redwood beams and high ceilings. If you're looking for an urban setting and a truly unique space, look no further.

The Space

There really is no place like this in Midtown. Recent tenants have been artists and musicians who enjoy the central location and large open space inside.

Guest Access

• 1,000 sqft of open loft space
• Powerful wall A/C in the bedroom
• Heater in main space
• Brand new King bed and mattress
• Gas fireplace
• Convertible sofa
• Ample street parking available
• Stained concrete floors
• High ceilings
• Original redwood beams
• Direct access from the alley through an enormous metal door created by the artist who built out the space

Interaction with Guests

I live and work close to the apartment and I absolutely love Sacramento. I can help with any recommendations and introductions to make your stay amazing!

The Neighborhood

Despite it's central location near lots of restaurants and bars, this apartment is tucked away behind the Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen.

Other Things to Note

This apartment is adjacent to train tracks. It is not loud, but the train does rumble by every few hours.

  • Ben's place is very cool and very conveniently located to the Midtown scene and the Capitol/Convention center, etc. He is an extremely responsive host who really aims to make a great experience for guests and we really appreciated it.

  • All went well. Place was clean and everything was as expected. The 3 LONG trains did shake the place but it just gave our road trip one more exciting memory! We did have a random stranger knock on the windows looking for some pliers for his bike because the apt is attached to a bike shop. It took a couple of times for the man to understand that we WERE NOT a part of the bike shop -- more exciting memories. LOL On a serious note there were some various vagrants roaming around once the sun went down. Maybe not the best place for young families but adults might not be bothered by the location. Starbux was right around the corner. :)

  • I had a great, productive stay in Sacramento thanks to Ben and his location. This place is a must!

  • The best! Benjamin was a great host providing suggestions on running routes and grocery stores in the area, and tips on anything else I asked for. I had inquired beforehand about places to rent a bike, and he generously offered to provide one of his own and left it at the apt with a lock and light. The space is as pictured and the train a few people have mentioned was not a big deal at all, it goes right by the apt, but no whistles/horns, so just a bit rumbly. Never woke me up.

  • Benjamin's place is very convenient to great restaurants and high accessibility. It was easy for me to find overnight street parking for my rental car. There was a little glitch at check in, but Benjamin took care of it right away. He's very responsive and available for any questions. Check in and out was very easy.

  • Benjamin was easy to work with and responded to my emails quickly. The place was great. It slept three comfortably. The doors are very cool and the one described about having a wall behind it is true. A Murphy Bed would be awesome there. The neighborhood was centrally located and we were able to stumble to bars and take a $10 cab from Old Town. One surprise that I didn't see in reviews was that a train went by (like 20' away) at 3:00 a.m. It made for a great story though.
