Interaction with Guests
I live and work close to the apartment and I absolutely love Sacramento. I can help with any recommendations and introductions to make your stay amazing!
Despite it's central location near lots of restaurants and bars, this apartment is tucked away behind the Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen.
Other Things to Note
This apartment is adjacent to train tracks. It is not loud, but the train does rumble by every few hours.
This was my first AirBnb experience, and Ben was an excellent first-time host. The apt was as advertised, and met my single day stay needs nicely. An unique location, a very clean apt, and a nice distance to many restaurants and pubs. We even walked to the capitol building for a visit.
Good apartment and location nearly unbeatable. Spacious and clean with lots of amenities
My friends and I had an overall great experience staying here. Booking, checking in, and checking out were very easy. All my questions were answered promptly, and Benjamin provided very helpful info for the listing. Loved the eclectic vibe of the space and the very comfy and large king sized bed. The apartment had everything we needed and it was close to many shops, bars, and restaurants. The AC was a bit loud though and the apartment is right next to the train tracks, which wasn't too much of a bother, but definitely a livelier spot. But either way, it was a perfect weekend getaway and I would enjoy staying here again.
When we arrived, we noticed the existence of spiders in the bathroom. And as a husband of a phobic person, we faced a problem with that. The apartment was just as described and Ben was cooperative. But unfortunately we had to stay awake till midnight due to the neighbor's musical auditions, however, When we described the problem to Ben he sent them a sms and their voices got a little bit lower. There is a train passing just in front of the house, so it caused a lot of noise as it caused like an earthquake every time it passes. I don't think we will repeat the experience.
Ben/Maire kept communication lines open the entire trip. We had a question on parking and within minutes they gave a huge list of ideas. Everything we needed was there and the listing was exactly as we imagined and was great to spend two nights in. It is located right in the middle of Mid town and around the corner from great food, drinks and shopping. We are so happy that we chose this place and had such an amazing time. The space was super unique and had so much character, it was great!
Overall a decent experience. The hosts did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.
We were a little worried that the door to the apartment is located in an alley near a dumpster, where people very regularly dug around trying to find recyclables, including quite late at night.
The apartment is directly next to the train tracks. Not a problem as the bedroom door is mostly sound-proof, but it is loud for additional guests staying in the living room.
The apartment is clean and in a convenient location; walkable to bars and hotels downtown. I stayed there for a conference and would caution the business traveler if they are light sleepers. The space is a loft and its next door to a train so there is a lot of noise that kept me up late and woke me up a few times in the night.
I did find free street parking on F and 20th, just check street signs. Everything else around the block was permitted during the day or was $25 a day.
