Welcome to Santa Fe! This charming studio cottage and my home share the property in this quiet residential neighborhood. The cottage is full of Santa Fe charm with a cozy, pretty interior, skylights and lots of natural light, a fully-stocked kitchen corner, handmade cabinets, Mexican tile, comfy queen-sized bed, and a private garden patio. It's a quiet haven but centrally located, just 2 miles from the Plaza/downtown. It's a lovely place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space
Bed and Bath - there are four pillows, sheets and towels, and two cozy down comforters in the Fall and winter.
Kitchen - I provide organic dark French roast coffee beans, a coffee grinder and French press, half & half, black and herb tea, instant oatmeal, honey and organic sugar. There are plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware and kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and a tea kettle. There's a full stove and oven, and a small fridge with a tiny freezer.

Guest access
You have a private side entrance with a locked gate. You also have your own private patio and access to a washer/dryer.
On the day of your arrival, please let me know approximately when you'll get here, as I'd like to be here to welcome you in person in possible. If I can't be here I'll let you know where to find the keys and a simple map.

Other things to note
I hope my guests will clean up after themselves in the bathroom and kitchen. Since we are in the high desert, we all need to watch our water usage.

Hello, and thanks for checking my Airbnb site! Like most of you, I also love to travel, and I really enjoy the unique connections that Airbnb offers both as a guest and a host. I have a low-key, independent style of traveling, and I love to wander and see how the locals live. My favorite travel destinations have been Europe and Asia, but no continent is out of the question. I recently retired from my profession as a hospice nurse and am now focusing on my other interests of playing music, writing, artwork, and travel. I grew up in northern California and moved to Santa Fe in 1995. Like most of us here, I was grabbed by the mountains and landscapes, the different cultures and history, the cuisine, good friends, and that intangible vibe that no one can quite describe!
