We would love to help you find anything your looking to do, while here, please just let me know if you need anything and If I can help you I will send you in the right direction.
Parking is the main complaint here in Cooperstown, but luckily where ever parking is an issue, you can walk to from our house. So park your car and enjoy. Anything further out where your car is needed, they have parking too.
There is no smoking in our house. Thanks!
Oh my goodness!! Some of the nicest, warmest, kindest people you will ever meet. Accommodations followed suit. Loved walking around. Will definitely be returning!!
Alice and Sergio are a delight. Alice was a great resource when it came to things to do around town and made sure we were comfortable/everything was okay all the time. Thank you for making our stay away from home so cozy!
We very much enjoyed our stay this past weekend up in Cooperstown. It was a beautiful home and very comfortable surroundings. Alice was very friendly and we enjoyed the great suggestions she offered to do around the town. Especially the fingerling potatoes at Alex & Ika Restaurant!
Alice is one of the most gracious hosts we've experienced staying with. Before we even stepped foot in her home she was very accommodating with her communication and in waiting up for us after we explained that we'd be up a lot later than the check-in time. She greeted us happily, helped carry some bags and although we only booked one room, she allowed us full access to her home. She was very easy going and spirited.
The room was beyond cozy, with a very plush bed and a adorable private bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were pretty much allowed to use and access everything available to us.
We had a really great time, and if ever in Cooperstown again, we know exactly who to look up.
Thanks for having us!

My husband recently went to Cooperstown on business and needed to find a place at the last minute. The hotels that were still available were either several miles outside town or very pricey. He asked if I had any suggestions, and I decided to search airbnb. Alice was terrific--super friendly and responsive about the reservations and travel planning. What she offers is much more affordable, pleasant, and convenient than many of the other options in the area.
Here's what my husband had to say about the room: "Great location in an old, well-restored house from the Civil War era, just a five-minute walk from the HoF & center of town on a quiet street. My room, while small, was very clean and comfortable. I was happy that the room came with its own private bathroom. There was always coffee in the pot in the kitchen for communal use, access to the fridge (and Alice told me to help myself to yogurt, although I didn't), and a big living room. Alice is lively and easygoing, unassuming but attentive, and she was really friendly, fun to hang out and talk with in the kitchen, a good source for suggestions, directions, etc. She makes her own soap (if you're lucky she'll give you a bar). It was like staying with a cousin you really like."
Wow! What great hospitality! We were made to feel at home from start to finish. Alice and Sergio provided lots of conversation and local lore. The neighborhood is quiet and nice, and the downtown area is a five-minute walk away. Plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in downtown Cooperstown, with little to no "fast food" blight. And there are all kinds of things to do in Leatherstocking Country. Highlights for us included the Fenimore Art Museum, the Village Library Building, Christ Episcopal Church buildings and grounds, and the Fly Creek Cider Mill.
Susan and I had a wonderful time at your Cooperstown home. Great restaurant recommendations as well. Hope to return in the future
