Portland's Richmond neighborhood balances the best of two worlds: Fabulous dining on Southeast Division Street (a "sizzling culinary corridor") and a livable, "leafy neighborhood" that boasts community gardens, bike lanes and movies in the park. Hawthone blvd offers eclectic shopping and dining and Mt Tabor park is minutes away for an invigorating walk.
You can be downtown in 15 minutes by car or bus. Street parking is free. There are 3 bus lines available within a few blocks. Using Trimet couldn't be easier. Trimet has great trip planing available on its website, and online tickets available for your smartphone.

Serron was a kind and gracious host. She provided a quiet, lovely room in a beautiful home. I felt welcomed and slept great. I would highly recommend her place.
Serron and Rich were gracious and welcoming hosts. Our trip to Portland was very last minute, but they accommodated us wonderfully, even texting directions to their house from the train station. They provided fantastic recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Sunday breakfast was homemade, delicious, vegetarian and gluten-free. And their location is also excellent, within easy walking distance to great destinations on Hawthorne and Division, as well as to Mt. Tabor. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend staying with Serron and Rich in their lovely home.
Serron and Rich were graciously able to accommodate our last-minute request for a night at their beautiful home in SE Portland. We slept well and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. Thanks again so much!
This location was great. Easy to hop on a bus, get to all kinds of great places on Division St. and just a short walk up to Mt. Tabor Park. The beagles, were so sweet and didn't make a peep when I came in or left the house. The cat was so mellow and peaceful. It worked out just right for me.
What a nice place and nice couple. The house is just five blocks from where our daughter lives. We would definitely like to stay there again. Thank you! -- Graham Kislingbury and Nancy Anderson, Albany, Ore.
Serron and Rich were terrific hosts and I highly recommend them. Their house is beautiful and cozy, and in a wonderfully vibrant and walkable part of Portland. Serron and Rich are very friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The bedroom and adjacent sitting room make for a very nice spot to call home away from home. I had a wonderful visit to Portland, and when I return I would definitely want to stay here again.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay, friendly company, beautiful and very well-kept home, and a perfect location for bike explorations of the city. Highly recommend staying here.
Serron and Rich have a beautiful home. We loved being able to stay there, instead of a hotel. They have the sweetest beagles, I just wanted to take them home with me :) Quiet, clean, friendly atmosphere. Loved the little room with the couch and tv attached to the bedroom where we could watch netflix on a night in. We would be very happy to stay with them again when we return to Portland.
Rich and Serron could not have been more accommodating! The Stumptown coffee, the handmade soap, the wonderful bed... all made our weekend very special. We also appreciated the large, additional, private room beside the bedroom where we could put our feet up and make plans for the evening. This was our first airbnb room rental that wasn't totally private and I have to admit that I felt like a bit of an intruder... but that's just my stuff, no fault of the hosts.
Serron and her husband were really kind and accommodating, we showed up late but they were very understanding. Beautiful house, great location.
