Come check out Woodstock and the Green Mountains!
We found this 1890 farmhouse and immediately fell in love with it. Now that the renovations are complete, the apartment has local Vermont slate floors and a local maple countertop. We also polished the hardwood floors, painted the unit, and purchased entirely new furniture and mattresses. Both bathrooms have also been given a complete makeover.
The Woodstock area has everything you could ask for: swimming holes, lakes, hiking, biking, and skiing. Killington is 15 minutes away, as well as the green mountain forest, Quechee gorge, Silver Lake and route 100. There are numerous trails and mountain hikes within a 5 minute walk.
If you are exploring the area in pursuit of culture and night-life, Woodstock, Killington, Quechee, and Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH can provide all sorts of activities. The house is a 60 second walk to the center of town, including the historic Woodstock Inn, and other great restaurants and shops.
Gotta get up to get down.
We had a wonderful stay at this home in Woodstock. It's beautifully remodeled and centrally located. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Ryan was polite, helpful and accomodating. He also provided great recommendations on nearby restaurants and activities. I highly recommend this one!
Ryan was an amazing host. He was always polite and responded in a very timely manner. Ryan made sure we were taken care of with great suggestions on what to do/see nearby, where to eat in Woodstock as well as skiing recommendations and tips. The house itself was impeccable – super clean and recently redone.
Our trip and stay was nothing less than amazing and we definitely will want to come back. Very highly recommend!
Ryan was a wonderful host-- informative, communicative, and helpful. He was super responsive and, before our stay, provided an insider's guide to the area. Where to eat, what to see, etc.
The house itself was lovely, clean, and beautifully redone. Incredible location within walking distance of the town center. We were very pleased with this home over a regular B&B, as we had space to gather in the living room and the ability to cook in the kitchen. Overall, it really was a treat to stay in such a wonderful home.
We absolutely loved our visit to Woodstock and wholeheartedly recommend Ryan as a host!
Had a great stay at Ryan's house, which is clean, comfortable, and extremely close to town. We found Ryan extremely accommodating and could not be happier with the stay.
