Welcome to our Farmhouse Luxe Lakeview Chalet across the road from beautiful Lake Harmony. Enjoy the hot tub, fireplaces, fire pit, grill + large deck. Relax with games, a pool table & karaoke. Lake access is included for kayaks, fishing & boating. Close to golf (2 min), waterpark (2 min), Poconos Raceway (7 min), skiing (4 min), and Jim Thorpe (20 min). The space
Bask in elegance. The home, the "Cavallo Chalet" is a Lakeview Chalet is inspired by the enchanting Lake Como and its breathtaking mountains in Italy. This two-story chalet plus basement level has soaring 25+ feet ceilings, and is on the most desired roadway in Lake Harmony, near it all. Whether it’s skiing at Big Boulder (get there in under 5 minutes), Jack Frost or Camelback (15 minutes), golfing at Split Rock (2 minutes), enjoying water parks, or kayaking fishing, or hiking at Lake Harmony (100 steps from the house), or enjoying Jim Thorpe (20 minutes away), drop off your bags and relax!
Your Cavallo Chalet Stay Includes:
🚤 Access to private Lake Harmony (100 steps from home, right across the road). Lake Harmony is one of the few lakes that allows motorboats in the Poconos. Lake access is included in your stay. No wristbands needed!
🎣 We will let you know special access points for our guests for kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, swimming and other water activities. No fees to swim, fish, etc.
🛶 2 adult kayaks are included with signed waivers (note: all guests using kayaks must individually sign).
🍿🍿 We supply a movie screen (120 inches) and projector to enjoy in the private back yard
🏖 Steps to the swim area in Lake Harmony (~5 houses down) and a nearby beach (15 min drive)
🛝 Split Rock water park right up the street (1 mile away)

The Cavallo Chalet is designed for multi-generational families, gal trips, guy trips and more.
🔵 King bedroom with newly built ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet + luggage rack, and walk out balcony with seating area (2nd floor)
🔵 Queen bedroom closet + luggage rack (1st floor)
🔵 Loft with full size bed and twin trundle for 3 beds total (2nd floor), with sliding door to close off from staircase. The loft is open to banister overlooking the living room (see pictures).

******A Few Notes for Your Stay******
Mountain Living: Like most homes in Lake Harmony, we utilize well water. Guests will need to follow standard "lake house rules" for water conservation.
The lake is private and can be used by guests alongside Lakeview Dr. Note that there are several entrance points along the lake for fishing, kayaking, or other activities, and the designated beach/swim area is only about 20 yards long (there is no sandy area along the entire lake perimeter).
Lakeview Dr. has two-way traffic. Guests should use caution when walking to local restaurants and shops.
Arrival: The final 10-meter stretch of the driveway is a bit bumpy; we recommend taking it slow as you approach .
Guest access
All guests have access to three floors. Two closets will be locked for the housekeepers. All guests have full access to two off-street parking lots with room for 5-6 cars, a large deck, front and back yards, hot tub, fire pit, and all amenities.
Accessibility Notes: This is not a “stair-free” home. There are 4-5 stairs from either parking lot to get to the home’s walkway. There are also 3-4 stairs to get up to the front door. The first floor has a queen bedroom, full bath with walk-in rainhead shower, kitchen, living room with sleeping amenities, and laundry.
Other things to note
I do not collect a security deposit. However, guests will be asked to walk through the home no later than 12-hours after check-in and let the host know of any pre-existing damage on or around the property (e.g., stain or scratch on sofa or rug, broken chair, damaged walls, or any other damage). If guests see any damage the guests are asked to take a picture and send it to the host with the 12-hour window. If no damage is reported, the guests are indicating that the home was damage-free at the time of their arrival. The financial costs to repair any damage will be the full responsibility of the guests.
