The buildingi is on the famous COLLINS AVENUE!
Parallel to the Atlantic Ocean, it is the 3rd Avenue from the sea She is also the Florida State Road A1A1.
Designed as a "millionaire row," Collins Avenue is lined with historic hotels, in fact, north of 41st , the avenue runs between the Atlantic and Indian Creek, lined with palm trees and hotels famous in the 50s and 60s such as the Eden Roc and the Fontainebleau Hotel (where some scenes were filmed the movie "The BodyGuard").
The "Miami International Boat Show"also occurs on Collins Avenue.

The apartment has a stunning, breathtaking view of the ocean that you see right away when you open the door. It is very clean, and has a tiny kitchen, which is a little outdated but serves the purpose. The bathroom and shower are great, and Gloria provided lots of towels. Our issues are not with the apartment, but with the building. It is not maintained as well as it should be. Common areas are not cleaned well enough, and the same is true of the pool which is a shame because the pool is huge and could be so much better. There were nowhere near enough chairs around the pool, so there is almost never a place to sit. They need to invest in about 50 more chairs. There is a large pool deck, but lots of empty space. The pool restaurant was really good, and fun too! It's open late and was a big asset.
We loved walking the beach-it's about a mile up from the start of the boardwalk so it's a hike down to it, but we walked for miles once we were on it. You can also rent beach chairs just a little ways down from the resort.
Gloria gave us lots of information which made check in and out a breeze. We were aware of the valet problems, so we limited the times we used the car. Walked down to the Eden Roc for dinner one night, and took Uber other nights.
Quedé muy contento con el Depto. Tiene una excelente vista al mar, acceso a la playa y ubicación para recorrer Miami. Gloria es muy servicial y siempre está atenta para solucionar cualquier problema.
Good value for the price. View and proximity to the beach are great! The size is good for a couple and 1/2 kids. And it was cleab. The building was a little old and the shower was cold in many days. Besides the beach, you need a car for everything else and the valet parking takes forever (more than 45 min in peak hours).
Fantastic place, with clean and clear hotel room layout (though nice to have a small kitchen with 2 burners and all you'd need to make a meal!) and killer ocean for a backdrop. The building is old, so doors, paint and some of the 4 elevators reflect that... not a pristine overall treatment to the building. Still, Gloria has great integrity with providing the linens, kitchen items and nice feel to the place. We did have a problem with the toilet, which is the only drawback of an air BNB experience, as the person to call is not at the front desk... the email from Gloria apologized and said that plumbing and toilet were new, which I did not for one second doubt! Still, for the price and proximity to downtown and South Beach and the ocean side setting, that was a small luxury to swap! You just need to have patience if there is an issue to resolve! The desk was nice and other companies that rent the building out were more than courteous, kind and friendly. Plan for time to get your car from valet by then going back to your place or taking a walk down to the beach, as the valet company is flexible about getting the car and letting it sit a few minutes. (Only 1 time they had parked it again! But we were then on the top of the list and they got it within 5 minutes!)
We would stay here again. The boardwalk is close, so you only walk on the sand a short distance before you can get up to a flat solid walking surface to enjoy a long stroll on the ocean from your back door! (Worth noting, close to this place we had great experiences down the beach at Eden Roc hotel for food and drink, outdoor breakfast and the outdoor tv's for my husband to watch soccer and football. That's a great destination but without sleeping there you save half your money to pay for your fine meals and drinks!! Both reasonably priced for the quality and killer outdoor at Eden Roc!)
Thanks Gloria. Great place, and well worth the conveniences and perfection you give up from hotels for this awesome location, beautiful setting and cool place.
All went well with this accommodation. The view and location are spectacular. The apartment was clean and well appointed, albeit a little old. We didn't use the gym, pool, laundry, etc but we did eat at the restaurant and use the convenience store, both were good. It was a small studio, but enough for a couple. We had a toddler and the space was still sufficient. Check in and check out were easy. It was a bit difficult to get luggage carts upon check in but at check out, it was fine. The only real downfall of the place was the valet service always took forever. All in all, good value for money though.
