Dragon Pyramid Homestay is a unique place. Based on sacred geometry the centre building is a 2 story pyramid surrounded by a circular swimming pool. The apex of the pyramid has stained glass windows with images from ancient egypt.

There are five rooms we share with visitors.
Dragon Pyramid - Mango Delight.
Dragon Pyramid -The Pyramid
Dragon Pyramid - Pura View
Dragon Pyramid -Pool Side
Dragon Pyramid -Frangipani Room

Our location in Kerobokan gives easy access to the tourist areas of Seminyak (15 minutes), Canggu (15 minutes), Denpasar (15 minutes), Ubud (45 minutes) and Sanur (30 minutes) by car/motorbike. So an ideal home base to explore in all directions. Local public transport is non existent so we can help you organise taxi's , motorbikes and car hire with or without a driver for all your transport needs.

It is in a Balinese area with many great small local restaurants nearby. Right next door is a great restaurant which makes delicious BBQ chicken or fish, fried rice and fried noodles all Bali style of course

I would like to share my unique home and knowledge of local balinese culture and attractions with open hearted souls looking for an alternative to the usual tourist experience.

We seek to provide a safe space for people of all genders, sexuality, race and religion.

Dragon Pyramid Homestay is the birthplace of Crazy Wanders Foundation Bali. This foundation began with group change makers met in Bali and began a dream of creating a centre for Asian culture and learning, the idea is to support social welfare programmes. So we provide lessons on Yoga and Dhyan (Meditation), balinese dance, cooking, massage and much much more.

  • We stayed with Sally for 9 days and had a great time at her house that is located in a rather traditional Balinese neighborhood away from the touristic areas. Sally and Boi are great people to talk to and they will happily share their experience and advice with you. I definitely recommend her house for short or longer stays. It is also very close to anything around Denpasar and the scooters she rents will take you anywhere you want.

  • The Dragon Pyramid is a great place for young and budget minded travelers.
    - friendly host
    - great recommendations
    - off the beaten path
    - difficult to get to (addresses do not work in Bali I have learned, make sure you have your host's phone # with you for the taxi).

  • First thing Sally did when I met her for the first time was offering me healthy snacks. She's such an unbelievingly generous, helpful and friendly host.

The room was really spacious and beautifully built with wood and a decorative glass ceiling. There was no AC in the room however two fans were enough to cool the place down. The bathroom was always clean which was a joy!

Having a friendly monkey, two puppies, cats and dogs, amazing tenants, the place has a lot to offer! I felt like home immediately.

The location is definitely for people who are seeking for some quiet time. Canggu Beach is a just 15-20mins away by a motorbike. Food stalls and mini-marts are at a distance. It was a lovely stay and I'm pretty sure Sally's company was top during my whole trip in Bali.

    Thank you very much!

  • Sally was really friendly and helpful. She knows the nice things to do and helped us to plan some nice trips. The room we had was not the room we booked (that one had a leakage when we arrived), but with the AC it was nice and fresh. Simple bathroom outside but everything was there.
The little talks in the morning were really nice and Sally and her staff are very helpful!

  • we both had an awesome time staying at Sallys. she was very welcoming and gave us great advice for the area and what to do. we loved the area as it is where all the locals live so you very rarely see a tourist and all prices are local prices. great massage around the corner and great cheap food everywhere you turn. recommend getting a scooter as gives easy access to all points of interest. look forward to relaxing a Sallys again and chatting to Boy and Wayan.

  • Thank you Sally!

It was my first time in Bali... I felt a bit lost, I was not sure where to start in a place with so many options and places to visit... I stayed with Sally as my first place with Sally; She made me fell so welcome and relax from the first moment I contact her... after I was settle she organised me my next few days in Bali making sure I will find the best of the island for the time I had ( I was there only for a few days...) It was such a good luck to have with her experience and good will to create the perfect experience in Bali.... I can only recommend with 5 starts staying with Sally, she made my Bali dream a reality! Thank you!!

  • What an awesome place to stay! Sally is fantastic and super helpful - loads of suggestions of places to go and things to see. She helps sort everything from bike rental and car hire to how to get around and what amazing food to eat.

Dragon pyramid is located in a less western area of Bali which makes it so much nicer. Everywhere is very accessible and having other people staying gave us the opportunity to share experiences and get real life reviews.

The accommodation is perfect - lovely rooms in a beautiful setting. Sally rescues animals so you're sharing with dogs and a monkey as well as two adorable kittens we bought home after finding them at the edge of the road! She has a massive heart and we can't wait to come back and visit. It was just so easy and relaxed and I don't want to go home.

  • This was a really really wonderful place to stay - beautiful house, fun common area, cute dogs, and really good location. Sally was wonderful in giving us recommendations of what to do and where to go, and she also was super helpful in finding motorbikes for us (which you should definitely rent! It's the best way to travel around the island). Wayan, her housekeeper, is similarly awesome, and overall it was a really great stay. Highly recommended!

Hello my new Friends!! Sally is Australian and first came to Bali with Australian Volunteer International working as a midwife consultant/capacity builder helping to establish a Birth Centre for the Poor of Bali in Denpasar. She then fell in love Boi and with Bali and now lives here. Sally still provides consultancy for the Birth Centre and donates 10% of the homestay income to supporting the women, babies and families who use the clinic. i have now opened my home to guests and I am having so much fun sharing life and Balinese culture with my homestay family. My life is not perfect but it is full of love and humanity. “Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” Mother Teresa
