We welcome you at Cosy Top Tree Jungle Apartment, PURA VIDA.
We had a great time visiting nearby national parks like Manuel Antonio (two sloths, howler monkeys, and capuchin monkeys galore) and Marina Bellena (perfect beaches - and we're from Florida, so we have high standards for beaches!). The space has a wonderful wraparound porch and a view of jungle forest, although we saw few animals, as we were traveling to the parks; we heard many, though. Thierry provided several fans, which was fantastic (Quepos is understandably extremely humid during the wet season). Thierry was very informative and gave us detailed suggestions for enjoying our stay. We particularly enjoyed his recommendation of the restaurant Villa Leonor near Marina Bellena, and went there twice! The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. We slept very well the entire time.

This was my first time using airbnb. Thierry was an amazing host. I had a million questions prior to my stay and he answered every question and within adequate time. The place is exactly as the pictures. My boyfriend and I stayed for 6 days and we felt exactly like home. The location is great because you can take a taxi to quepos for $1 pp and then take the bus to Manuel Antonio for less $1 pp. We saw various animals during our stay. You do have to be aware that the apartment is in the jungle so there are a few bugs around. Thierry was very informative about the area and if needed anything during our stay; he was always available. Thierry was nice enough to drive us into town our first day and show us the area and drove us back to the bus stop to make our flight.
We had a great stay in Thierry’s house. We stayed on the top floor – clean, roomy, with all the conveniences (great shower). No AC, but the indoor climate was bearable during the day and fans were sufficient to keep us comfortable at night.
We came for the jungle and the wildlife, and Thierry’s place is perfect. From our porch, we were able to see a toucan, frogs and a family of monkeys wandering by. The private trails nearby, including one that starts at the door, take you into the forest, and we found we had the place entirely to ourselves.
Thierry is an excellent host. He knows the area and will make sure you feel at home. He explained the tricks of getting to Quepos and from there to Manuel Antonio, which turned out to be no problem. We enjoyed the beach most days, and spent one afternoon by the pool at the hotel-resort across the street.
We had a wonderful five days where the jungle meets the sea, and recommend it highly.
Thierry's place is absolutely breathtaking...your surrounded by all the beautiful nature! You can watch all three types of monkeys while sitting on the porch. And the sounds of the bugs and animals at dusk were amazing, at night it sounded like the jungle came alive..truly amazing. The apartment was gorgeous and very accommodating. Everything was as it was advertised. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you for everything Thierry!! I will see you again soon!!!!
We enjoyed staying here very much. We had a monkey show everyday, we took a hike around the grounds. Loved the sounds of the jungle. Bus service was just across the street, came every 15 minutes. You do not need a car. Quepos is a wonferful little town, lots to see, many resturants. We went fishing, caught and released many sailfish. We were not used to the humidty, that was the only bad thing, we come from very dry climate. You will love it here.
